Guest coachacola Posted August 7, 2009 Report Posted August 7, 2009 From the Port Arthur News: Memorial Titans senior to be Darius Harris has verbally committed to play basketball with Lamar University. While nothing is official until pen meets paper come signing day in November, Titans coach Terrul Henderson said it is a done deal — the 6-7 center will be a Cardinal. And when that day comes, Harris will become the first Titan to play for Lamar. http://www.panews.com/sports/local_story_219214251.html?keyword=topstory

Guest coachacola Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Sounds like a good addition.. I've never heard of him though. Can anyone from PA give some insight? I asked this question in the high school basketball forum and got not replies. Rivals doesn't have him rated at all. Was anybody else recruiting this guy?
Lazeek Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Have not found much on him............how good is he? If he is not rated as one of the best high school kids in SE Texas then how much help will he really be for LU? I heard very little about him last year.
