Breaking News from Evadale

[Rebel Yeller]

Just got back from stopping in to see the Rebels practice for a bit this morning and the Rebels have picked up a player and it has to be bad news for one of the other programs in District 23A.

Chase Franklin from Chester was in pads this morning for the Rebels. Franklin is a junior who has played QB, RB and LB for the Yellowjackets since he was a freshman. He is also an infielder for the baseball team. It is my understanding that his mom has been hired as the Spanish teacher at Evadale and that they have moved back into the district with family.

He is just another piece that makes this years (and next) Rebels a strong candidate to repeat as district champions.

Just wanted to pass this along as it will surely have an impact on the district!

This is a good addition to the rebel squad.. Just from watching Chase play and grow up, i'm  impressed with his play.. Not only big, but really agile as wel. good luck rebels

Sounds like the old Midland VS Odessa days---Get Charlie in Personnel to go find us a  QB DAD and make him a drilling foreman.  Take the keys to the moving truck and get em her ----now.

If they are recruiting, they need to be looking for more linemen. LOL
