Or is the media just covering players being hit by a pitch more often now than in the past? With fight earlier this week, Ozzie's comments about if you hit my players there will be retaliation, David Wright last night, and Ian Kinsler being thrown at and missed then on his next at bat being hit in the head like Wright; it just seems like alot for one week of baseball. Can someone tell me if this is just another week in the BIGS or if it is becoming more common? I want to add the wright hit didnt look like it was on purpose but I just want to know about players being hit in general whether on purpose or accident.
