Bobcat

You miss the point, [glow=red,2,300]none of them are ranked yet[/glow]!

This will just make it easier to look back and see how a number of teams did against each other.

Football has nothing like tournaments that compare apples to apples on the field.

Rankings are just opinions especially when three classifications are lumped into one poll. This just gives a better indication as to how lots of schools line up against each other.

It won't determine poll rankings, but it does give a better indication as to how programs stack up against each other especially across different classifications.

By the way you always have some of the best posts in the forum. Keep it up!

year in year out one of the best smaller school tournaments in the area. It is always very competitive and exciting for the fans and players. Some great rivalries here because of closeness of the teams. Stop in and get a look bobcat you will enjoy. Orangefield won it all last year. This year the favorite has to be Warren or East Chambers

The Lady Rebels won pool A of their tournament today. They were 5 wins and 1 loss on the day.

They defeat Deweyville 2-0, Cleveland 2-0 and split with Corrigna Camden, but they gave up less points in their win than C-C did.

This puts them playing the runner up from Pool C which plays games tomorrow.

The Lady Rebels seem to be playing with plenty of heart and they are getting the feel of each other on the court. The chemistry seems to be good and the team seems to be having fun doing it the way it is supposed to be done.

The Lady Rebel record stands at 4-1-1 (I presume that the tie with C-C would stand that way) They have yet to play a 1A school so far this season and the only loss is to East Chambers.

It looks to be a very good year for the Lady Rebels!

Congrats to the Lady Warriors. They dropped the first game to the Lady Eagles but came back to win the next two. Lots of hitters on this team for a 2-a club.I thought the left handed hitter Warren has turned the momentum in the second game with several kills.I was expecting Hatton and Brent to play stellar ball(and they did)but the rest of the girls, Lewis,Burns Foster,Kelly and Spivey all played very good ball today.I haven't seen any of the top ranked small school clubs yet this year but this group could easily develope in to something special before this season is over.Woodville played very well also. You gotta love this rivalry.Good luck to both clubs the rest of the year.

    • The numbers on those charts reflect all age groups and not just HS age Students. Another thing to remember,  some parents of school age kids might work in neighboring districts and choose to have their child in the district they are employed.  Not always the case but it is something to remember
    • We have a new apartments complex being built in Mont Belvieu. You’re going to need to update that chart.😂

    • Same speed WOS used to shutout Silsbee. But the conspiracy theory says it should've been much closer that night. Tigers path seems much easier as 3rd place team. Hmmmm?
