Should players were numbers during scrimmage?

Saw a QB wearing 68 on Thursday....Skill players wear different #s so they will confuse scouts.

What difference does it really make?  Scouts can remember positions...they don't need no stinkin' numbers. ;D

YES they should.    why?    the purpose of all of this is to evaluate your players in a "game-like" situation. when players start flying around if there is no number to tract them with, you waste time in the evaluation process. that should be the only reason for  numbers and scrimmages.

Pretty sure everyone new # 83 was Doty for PNG. Wasn't always sure about the WR's though.

Don't really matter to me.  It's a practice.  Most teams have practice jerseys with no numbers on them.

I dont think it really matters. Coaches know who they have in and when the fans are in the stands trying to figure out who is who, sparks conversation with one another and thats not always a bad thing!

each position coach knows who he has in on each play and evidenced by the screaming players names know exactly what they did right or wrong.  trying different formations and plays might require certain athletes to be places that scouts don't need to recognize so I guess no numbers might keep a thing or two hidden but probably not enough for it to be that big of a deal.

Doesn't matter armchair qb's and coaches only watch their own kid everybody else knows who's in what position.
