Guest bleed orange Posted August 24, 2009 Report Posted August 24, 2009 Orangefield has always had kids that played hard. But in the past they have lacked fundamentals and the " Little Things". Well that has changed, and you can tell the difference on the field. They still have a ways to go but you will see a different Orangefield team this year. The kids have great attitudes and a positive outlook. Orangefield made the right choice in hiring the new coach. Change is not always bad. Coach Peveto used to say, " If you do the little things right everything else will take care of itself." Coach Huckaby teaches the little things. I like this guy. He is "Old School", just what our kids need. Back when I played for Ed Peveto we did fundamentals everyday. In order to beat a team who is more athletic, you have to be fundamentally sound and we were and we did.
the sports guy Posted August 24, 2009 Report Posted August 24, 2009 Its good to see the Orangefield Bobcats wanting to play football! Orangefield and LCM have a tad bit more enthusiasm than last year for sure!
