Guest Wildcat 08 Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 Playoff Team or not? Just curious. Some people that went to the game said they didn't look good on Offense. Could't put a drive together in the 1st half.
tvc184 Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 Playoff Team or not? Just curious. Some people that went to the game said they didn't look good on Offense. Could't put a drive together in the 1st half. I think they will be in the hunt. If they can get some improvement on offense, they have a good shot at the playoffs.
AshlyHasBeen Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 Tatum was moved up to varsity this week, he is listed as the backup QB for now.

JMay Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 Should fight it out with Dayton and Central for 2nd and 3rd. I was not impressed with what I saw from Ozen. Central has great d and tons of speed, but the boys from PNG alway seem to get it done when it counts. Some call it luck...whatever it is they seem to get things to go there way. I'll take the NDNs to grind out a 3rd place spot and get into the playoffs in several low scoring district wins.
NewIndian Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 Oh yeah Tatum on varsity this kid is great, went to Dodges camp this summer and obviously learned alot, offense will start clicking now with the recievers we have can hardly wait to see, will start going to more practices to see
Ty Cobb Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 PNG=better than average team who plays in the Big 12. They will be in the hunt, but it won't be easy.
NewIndian Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 If it was easy how would that be any fun?
KFDM COOP Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 Can't wait until the PN-G/Ozen match up next Friday. This first game in this District i feel is a must win.
Scalpem06 Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 does anyone wanna throw in predictions on this game?? i say PNG 28 Ozen 21 this game will be all about defense
Guest Bridge City Card Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 Indians by 10, 23 to 13.
Guest LCM Volleyball Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 Did you guys ever decide on who the starting QB will be?
Lonewolf Posted September 21, 2006 Report Posted September 21, 2006 Sounds like Nederland better be hittin the books or there season is done before it even starts.   http://www.panews.com/sports/local_story_262230137.html
NewIndian Posted September 21, 2006 Report Posted September 21, 2006 NDNS by 10, Defense will win big, hopefully offense will come out big
Guest Bridge City Card Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 PN-G has always done well against Ozen. PN-G by 10. Ozen is having problems from what i hear!
WOS95 Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 if png can establish the running game, they should be able to get the victory. they need to cut back on the turnovers. IMO png defense did a pretty good job last friday. silsbee had good speed and it was good test for the indian defense. Ozen should be another good test for them. PN-G 34 Ozen 21
KFDM COOP Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 One week District starts, can't wait!
Guest Kelly Football Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 Looking at the schedule next week PN-G/Ozen should be game of the week.
