The Patriots lost a shot at their first win in school history against Pasadena last year when they fumbled inside the 10 with a little over a 1:00 left in the 4th quarter. In the two scrimmages (Cy-Springs and Mayde Creek) the defense has looked much improved. The secondary is young and will have to learn under fire. The offense seemed to finally get on track last week against Mayde Creek and should only get better. The d-line will be missing Jr. Kendall Wilkerson this week due to a staph infection in his arm. However, the Patriots will put an early notch in the "W" column.
