The main reason this game is played is for COUNTY PRIDE and the revenue generated from this game pays for most of the SPRING SPORTS . Why would LCM (like in the past ) travel to SFA or Lufkin or someplace like that and rent a stadium to play somebody from way off and LOSE MONEY everytime when they could play right here ,MAKE MONEY and play a good team like WOS. Can't find any better competion than that. Moody did not want to play this game because odds are LCM would get beat and that right there showed what kind of leader he was. Coach Crouch and the Bears may not win this game but keeping this crosstown rivalry alive and not DUCKING good teams will only make them better.

WOS`S  punting,  kickoffs and extra points  were not up to par in the Nederland game.  with the addition of a new kicking coach, i expect this problem to be improved this week.  LCM - 7  & WOS - 33.

im not sure why we dont work on the extra points and field goals a little more in the jv games when we have a nice lead.... they have a pretty good kicker/punter on jv!  ;)

Hope so speveto.WO-S has all most always had a kicking game problem.Mostly extra points.We have had a few good kickers but they are few and far between.Nederland on the other hand has always had a good kicking game.

He shouldn't have HAD to be pressured into playing a game that was already on schedule!  It was unbelievable that he tried to back out of it.
