Friendswood at Dayton

This will be the game of the week between the Trinity and Brazos River. Two of the top 4A Houston area teams will tangle at Bronco Stadium. The Mustangs have had the Broncos number lately. Will the Broncos be able to finally snap the Mustangs winning streak. This is usually a close game that goes into the 4th quarter. The Broncos offense didn't skip a beat in the first game of the season agains Bay City. Will either defense be able to slow down two of the best offensive machines in east Texas. Toups Graphics sees 60 plus points being scored Friday Night in a fantastic game that will be played in front of one of the largest crowds to watch a game in Liberty County. Who will win? West Brook vs Central

Can Central oust the mighty Bruins of West Brook as king of Beaumont ISD? This should be one great game played at the Babe. Look for a packed house to make a great Friday Night Lights experience for the fans and the players. Central just knocked off PAM last week, and now they are looking to pull off the Daily Double. Crosby vs PN-G

Crosby just experienced a woodshed beating on the banks of the Brazos River. Now they travel to the banks of the Neches to take on the Indians of PN-G. The Indians chief barely escaped with a scalp last week against the Eagles of Barbers Hill, and now he wants to ambush yet another 19-4A school. Crosby was supposed to challenge the mighty Broncos for a district championship, but starting off the season 0 and 2 isn't the way to start the climb up the hill. Will Crosby be travelling to their own "Little Horn" when they visit the Indians of PN-G or will the Indians be forced to march the trail of tears. A great game at the Reservation will happen Friday. Lumberton vs Barbers Hill

The second 19-4A vs 20-4A contest will be played close to the banks of Old River. Lumberton is coming off a convincing week 1 victory over the Longhorns of Hamshire Fannet, while the Eagles of Barbers Hill watched as the PAT went wide, losing by 1 point to the Indians of PN-G. Unfortunately for Lumberton, Barbers Hill is a far cry from Hamshire Fannet and the Eagles are playing on their home turf. Look for another close to capacity stadium for the Eagles home opener.
