insidetrap Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 Who is the best HS football player you have coached and where is he?
EX-Ceauxch Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 Eric Alexander-SFA HS- LSU- Patriots. Played LB at NE and LSU and played everything at SFA.
RETIREDFAN1 Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 Keyuo Craver.....Harleton HS....University of Nebraska.....New Orleans Saints......
Guest Gotcha Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 I would have to say: Anthony Swartz OL. He was extremely soft as a freshmen, then grew up right before my eyes. I believe now he is the OC somewhere. The offense he is running just cannot be stopped.
The Pirate Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 LET ME SEE...SWARTZ (BAD KNEES), J. JONES (HEAD WAS TO BIG), BH GRAD T. JONES, NOW THAT WAS AN ANIMAL!!!!! DIRT......OUTLAW.....
Steve Largent Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 We had a 2-sport stand-out at Aldine MacArthur back in the day. Probably too old for most of you to remember. JR Lemons was a good receiver and even better baseball player. As a receiver, footwork and route running weren't great, but could catch anything you threw at him, even with all the broken fingers. Better baseball player though. Went on to play at Lamar.
blinky Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 Frank Middleton from the Brook. He dominated both sides of the ball playing offensive guard and defensive tackle. If you have any questions about that ask Hooks. Went to University of Arizona. Played in the League for Tampa Bay and the Raiders.
Lefty99 Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 Eric Alexander-SFA HS- LSU- Patriots. Played LB at NE and LSU and played everything at SFA. Played against him in HS....was a great 3A player!
