sticky Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 Barbers Hill NEW CANEY — Call it ‘serving’ up a victory. Barbers Hill took advantage of a strong serving night to sweep past New Caney, 25-13, 25-18, 25-14 to stay perfect in District 21-4A at 5-0. It was also the 20th victory of the season for the Eagles. “We had a good serving night and I thought we had the potential to do that,†BH coach John Leonard said. “Twenty-five of our 75 points came when they had a hard time getting the serve back across and gave us easy kill opportunities. Then we had another 7-10 aces you can add to that. “I was real happy with our serving.†Barbers Hill will host Galena Park Friday night in another district match.
