liltex Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 Not to early for DCTF to pick WOS in the title game.Throw in the 4A scrimmages and a 4A win this week hard not to pickem as they are very atheletic/quick.Staying healthy will be the factor, talent there.
court side Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 Well if we going to pick this early Evadale has a real good shot. (I know 1a)
SgtRey Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 Well if we going to pick this early Evadale has a real good shot. (I know 1a) Sorry not familiar with 1a or PVT
pirate68 Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 Katy is not in this area... 8) 2A - Kirbiville 3A - W.O 4A - Central 5A - WB( ;D) Have the best chance in the area to be, STATE BOUND... these picks wouldn't be a little biased would they?
Jackthehammer Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 SgtRey You left out Vidor. Dont you think they have the best shot in Pvt school to make it. LOL
Guest JustAPlayersMom Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 Okay, my feelings are a little hurt. Nobody mentioned the Newton Eagles. Oh never mind I figured it out. It is just assumed that Newton will be the State champs....hehe
hdbobcat5209 Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 Not sure but I'm sure that Evadale dont make it past the first round in playoffs and with the great coach barbay still in newton I'm sure they will make it to state...

NDNWarrior Posted September 7, 2009 Report Posted September 7, 2009 Okay, my feelings are a little hurt. Nobody mentioned the Newton Eagles. Oh never mind I figured it out. It is just assumed that Newton will be the State champs....hehe This is true! Hey, I graduated from Newton in the 70's, now a HUGE PNG fan....best thing...I still bleed PURPLE! Best of Luck, Eagles!
77 Posted September 7, 2009 Report Posted September 7, 2009 I'm not surprised. This has always been a big Rivalry, LC-M used to play WO-S closer than anyone even in the State Championship games in the past. WO-S could have ran away with it when they had the 28-7 lead but each time they were driving the great REFS that the area has this year threw holding calls. Coop I cant believe your are resorting to the old ref excuse for WOS not having a bigger rout than it was.

The Young and Injuries for sure. Refs have been terrible though.

AggiesAreWe Posted September 7, 2009 Report Posted September 7, 2009 Looks like my Saturday morning headlines from last week are coming true. Well at least one of them. " WOS wins a "closer than normal one" over LCM!!" (Hooks instructs a couple of the "homers" to get out their excuse books) "West Brook eeks out a win over the Jaguars on controversial call late in game" (BMTSoulja seen running across field chasing after officials)
NDN79 Posted September 7, 2009 Report Posted September 7, 2009 Hey  SgtRey That was pretty funny!! ;D But you better be careful, they are kind of sensitive about that schedule issue!

BMTSoulja1 Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 I thought they were former Forest Park Refs.... ;D ;D

Don't forget the two int's by lcm when wo-s was driving...one in the end zone. LCM had a lot to do with why the score wasn't higher.Give them credit. ;D
