Those of you that made the trip out to Claiborne this morning were in for a real treat during the Big School girls as Malia Cali smashed the meet record running 11:25.99. She went through the mile in 5:19 and looked amazing. We had 390 runners at the meet today. I'm very proud of how my girls and boys competed. There was some stout competition as Nederland, BC, Huffman, and St. Thomas all came away with plaques. See ya'll Monday morning bright and early. 1880 Posted September 7, 2009 Report Posted September 7, 2009 Was an excellent meet put on by Bridge City. High Island sent their girls to it. From my understanding they were the only 1A school in attendance, this should help them get ready for their district meet in late Oct. Good job girls
