This is going to be a very tough fight for the Mustangs. The Rams are a power team who run the double wing and love to come right at you. The Mustangs are very young. The brutal schedule continues....Tenaha is next. Hope this prepares our boys for district. Whatever the outcome..football is back!!! Friday nights are a little more special now.

Does Joaquin still have the coach that was there 4 years ago? I cannot remember his name we interviewed him for the AD Head Football Coach's job in Deweyville. The man was a winner. Did he ever get his son coaching with him up there?

Wayne Gandy is still the A.D. at Joaquin & his oldest son is also a coach there. Gandy brought the Double Wing offense to Joaquin & they run it very well!

Joaquin is about 15 miles north east of Shelbyville. Located  between Center Tx & Logansport La on HWY 7.
