We will follow UIL rules for calling or postponing a game.  If a game is postponed, we will not push the whole schedule back a week, the game or games will be looked at and determined if they have any affect on the play-offs or seeding.  If they need to be played they will be rescheduled.

Looks like poor weather for weekend...how is decision made for postponement of games due to poor weather or lighting strikes? Will games be pushed back a week if games are unable to be played?

after just now hearing the weather: I can 99% guarantee there will be no football this weekend.  Of course, we do live in Southeast Texas so anything could happen.

99% guarantee?? ;D

yep; didn't want to say 100 cause like i said, we live in se texas and ya just never know.  Case in point: my son's team played in PNG today in the rain!  no thundering and lightening but the wind did pick up several times and the sky got a bit darker then it already was.

What a day! :D

usually all football sites will have a lightening meter. if the meter indicates a strike from 0-6 miles a thirty minute delay occurs, if another strike occurs in that thirty minutes you must wait another thirty

minutes. today in lumberton i dont think our meter ever recorded a close strike, a little wet but know

problems
