I'm not very optimistic.  There's a lot of moisture offshore that's said to be headed our way.  Even read where there's a slight chance it could organize itself and become a bona fide tropical depression.  It's not looking good friends.

Went to run at Bulldog Stadium this morning around 6:30 right after the hard stuff hit...

...field was holding a lot of water on the sidelines and both end zones. I know it drains pretty well over there if we can just get it to stop long enough, but it'll be a sloppy night for both sets of Dogs on Jerry Mallory Field tonight.

However, if you want to look at the bright side of it, maybe this is as close as we'll get to a hurricane this season...hopefully

looks to me most of the bad storms are staying east of the sabin river. i am have winds from the east at a prutty good clip, but still some brakes in the clouds almost 12pm no rain

STILL all the BAD TS are sill east of the sabin river almost 3pm  . here in lc  we still get peeks of the sun  NOT KIDDING guys and gals,the GODS must be smileing on  little cypress ,winds still from the east

As of now, it looks like the big stuff will miss us according to weather.com.

Still may be some lingering showers but the heavy stuff has moved east into Lake Charles and Baton Rouge.
