pngfan66 Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 ??? Coop what do you think the weather will be tonight at Kick off time locally ? Any break in the rain by Kick Off Time ?
JaysFan Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 I'm not very optimistic. There's a lot of moisture offshore that's said to be headed our way. Even read where there's a slight chance it could organize itself and become a bona fide tropical depression. It's not looking good friends.
skipper Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 dont look all that good here in LC at 8am
pngfan66 Posted September 11, 2009 Author Report Posted September 11, 2009 Heck it looks like a spiral formation just to the west of us ! Sorry not a meteorologist.
PNG1992 Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 thats whats good about the new turf...if it aint lightning...they'll be playing.
skipper Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 IF the thunderstorms will brake up in the gulf it might turn out ok tonight . i cant tell witch way it is all moveing ,looks like NW

Geaux25 Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 Went to run at Bulldog Stadium this morning around 6:30 right after the hard stuff hit... ...field was holding a lot of water on the sidelines and both end zones. I know it drains pretty well over there if we can just get it to stop long enough, but it'll be a sloppy night for both sets of Dogs on Jerry Mallory Field tonight. However, if you want to look at the bright side of it, maybe this is as close as we'll get to a hurricane this season...hopefully
Guest JoesBros Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 Ivan Croak has that SuperDome turf on the sideline ;D
JaysFan Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 However, if you want to look at the bright side of it, maybe this is as close as we'll get to a hurricane this season...hopefully Amen to that my friend!
Cardinal Supporter Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 Any chance games might be canceled? It is supposed to rain like this through Sunday or maybe even Monday so no postpones but probably cancellations. I hope not.
Bobcatfan4life Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 They wont cancell unless it's lightning. It's gonna be a big mud bowl tonight!!
skipper Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 NO RAIN HERE IN LC for more than 2 and hafe hrs , even see some brakes in the clouds
Geaux25 Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 Whole area about to get hit hard for awhile... The doppler on weather.com doesn't look too good. I needed a good reason to break out the pancho anyway.

Geaux25 Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 As of now, it looks like the big stuff will miss us according to weather.com. Still may be some lingering showers but the heavy stuff has moved east into Lake Charles and Baton Rouge. God must love southeast Texas football
