Long Tall Texan Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 Barbers Hill takes it with pride and conviction!
sweetness11 Posted September 12, 2009 Author Report Posted September 12, 2009 i agree, but dont know much about the galena park team and just goin by what they did last year BH 28 GP 7
ImJusSayn Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 Not sure what Galena Park has done this season but I think BH is going to come out on top..... ;D
BhGrizzlyAdams Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 Galena park s for some reason never been able to beat bh, that comeback in 07 just seems to be a jinx on their luck, ive got bh by at least three td's
whitewolf09 Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 Ill go with Barbers Hill . As stated above They have never beat us .. last year score and year before was like the same exact score 35-30 somthing like that .. We dont need to get cocky cause we all know they are capable of going 9-1 in a season .. there only deaftment by BH . So i am gonna go with by by atleast 1 TD .. as i have not heard a sweak about galena park this year
ImJusSayn Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 does anybody know how Galena Parks running game is?
liltex Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 GP-The go to guy is Desmond Smith-Keep the punts/kickoffs away somewhat or have good coverage on him.Ran a punt back 90 yds-rushed 2 times for 70 against Magnolia in gm #1.Montgomery held him in check last week.
ImJusSayn Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 sounds like this kid is pretty quick

FOOTBALLFEVER99 Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 This "should" be an easy win for BH, unless turnovers get in the way......I'd like to see a game where we actually only have one or two turnovers..or hey, maybe none!!!!!!! The BH team may not realize just how good they can be if they can eliminate the turnovers.... Excellent receiving corp QB is a good athlete, "has a winning attitude",and excellent runner, just needs to mature a little more and learn when to throw the ball away rather than force it.. Defense has speed ,decent size, and "instinct" to the ball. Special teams is aggresive and much improved from the PNG game.. "Solid group of Seniors with a goal" that looks like its rubbing off on some of the younger players. BH 31 GP 10

I wouldn't look for an "easy" win against Galena Park. for some reason records and standings always seem to go out the window when we get together. Last 3 years have been hard fought and contested to the end by both teams. I'm with you in hoping we get a handle on protecting the ball.
BH88 Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 I'm going with BH. But if we turn the ball over to many times then GP will walk away with win. GO BH!!!!!!!!!!
BH eagle Posted September 18, 2009 Report Posted September 18, 2009 I think that BH will win without or with turnovers just because of the defense will only allow little to no points. but if BH doesnt turn it over it will be a blowout. Look for the BH defense to score tonight.
RunTheDamBall Posted September 18, 2009 Report Posted September 18, 2009 I haven't heard about GP this season but if BH can limit the turnover and hold up on defense, then I believe they can take it.
