DaBuCk Posted September 21, 2006 Report Posted September 21, 2006 Dont count us out on this one, dayton might be good but they dont got tha RAIDA SPIRIT!!!
KFDM COOP Posted September 21, 2006 Report Posted September 21, 2006 Dayton's speed on both sides of the ball is what i was impressed with as well as size.
bronco1 Posted September 21, 2006 Author Report Posted September 21, 2006 Dont count us out on this one' date=' [b']Dayton might be good but they dont got tha RAIDA SPIRIT!!! We got spirit, Yes we do...
swampdude Posted September 21, 2006 Report Posted September 21, 2006 Dayton - by 2-3 TD's. Lumberton is still a year away from serious competition. That being said, they have made tremendous strides from last year's terrible team.
bronco1 Posted September 21, 2006 Author Report Posted September 21, 2006 Lumberton seems to be a little more optimistic than that. Judging by comments made on the Lumberton vs Cleveland thread.
woshigh Posted September 21, 2006 Report Posted September 21, 2006 Lumberton will get a real matchup in this game. I'll take Dayton by 2 TDs. Dayton has speed and size. Watch out for the quarterback. I think him and Dugat will both have big games.
WOS95 Posted September 21, 2006 Report Posted September 21, 2006 i haven't seen lumberton. i have seen dayton. Dayton-42 Lumberton-17 if lumberton has improved as much as they say, then it could be closer. however, the broncos are going to be tough to beat. dayton has lots of speed and good size.
bronco1 Posted September 21, 2006 Author Report Posted September 21, 2006 M. Dugat has not had alot of touches to date this season. I think Lumberton will see more of him, since it is a District game. He will have 150+ yds against Lumberton.
raiderhardball Posted September 21, 2006 Report Posted September 21, 2006 well lumberton is 3-0 and we are a much better team so i say ltown by 14. because of hussy and garza. not to mention our quarterback bryce.
bronco1 Posted September 21, 2006 Author Report Posted September 21, 2006 3-0 is good start. But I got a feeling it would be a little different if those first 3 games were with WO-S, Nacogdoches, and Friendswood. I wouldn't put to much stock into the non-district record. After next week your record will mean something.
woshigh Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 dayton is like bc or ned. has 1 powerful player on offense' date=' and a semi weak defense.[/quote'] Apparently, you don't know anything about Dayton. Their QB, Thomas, carried the ball way more than Dugat against us. He is a Michael Vick type QB. He may run all over Lumberton. Here is the box score from the Dayton-WO-S game: DAY Andrew Thomas 17-108 DAY Michael Dugat 10-70 , 1 TD
raiderhardball Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 apparently neither one of yall knows about lumbertons top class offence now we may not have a big o-line but our rb hussy knows how to get around the field and break alot of tackles. but i'm lookin forward to the game as well.
beaumontballer44 Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 Don't know much about dayton but i know they have a great rb in dugat and i no he also has a little bro named aj i think a sophmore? Everyone has been talkin about mosely which is one heck of a athlete I've been very surprised no one has been talkin about dugat as if he he doesnt exist? This district is tough hands down! I hope the raiders win but new canye, bridge city, and cleveland are semi-good teams. PN-G, Nederland, also Dayton and Ozen have scheduled the big boys for non-district!
raidernation Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 I am not impressed with Dayton based on the pre-district games. Statistically the defense has looked good giving up an avg of 126 rushing and 118 passing. I assure you Lumberton will have a much better passing game then Nac or Friendswood. The only way Dayton wins this game big is if we turn the ball over a lot or we give up a big play on special teams. I predict Dayton gets welcomed to the district by getting beat by the NEW Lumberton Raiders. 31-21
Guest Cherokee Nation Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 Dayton in a cake walk.

bronco1 Posted September 22, 2006 Author Report Posted September 22, 2006 dayton is like bc or ned. has 1 powerful player on offense' date=' and a semi weak defense.[/quote'] We will see how weak the defense is next Friday. I hope the coaches think the same way you do about 1 powerful player on offense. But I know they don't.

bronco1 Posted September 22, 2006 Author Report Posted September 22, 2006 ...I assure you Lumberton will have a much better passing game then Nac or Friendswoods. I don't think so... Nacogdoches TE is commited to a D1 school and so is the QB. They have a passing game and so does Friendswood. ALong with plenty of speed. Dayton's weak defense beat Nac and shut Friendswoods passing down.
