I think the schedule is great........Playing a bunch of really good teams that is for sure.

Ozen, Central, Jasper, Spurger, Kelly twice, YMBL, Fred Williams Classic and SA tourney.  That is strong.  Hopefully they will not be to beat up mentally when district rolls around!!!! :D

I say Silsbee will have more wins than losses come district time.

I am calling it right now.

Silsbee will win the district this year. There will be no sharing the title with the Hawks this year.

But you don't understand, LAZEEK, I have gotten the guarentee of several of the Silsbee players that they will not lose to HJ this season. They promised me that I would not be disappointed. ;D

Of course this was a promise made after their game with HJ at Silsbee's summer tourney that Silsbee won by 18. Could have been very misleading. ;D

No, but they did miss Prentice Lane in that game. He injured his knee a couple of games prior to that 2nd game with HJ. Silsbee really could have used him in that game and also the playoff games. He helped control Jarvis in that first game at HJ. They really missed his defense. It's nice having a '6"2-'6"3 guard out on the perimeter to defend.

Oh no, no, no. I spoke of losing Prentice when he went down in the district game against Orangefield. I knew that he would be missed mainly from a defensive standpoint. He was our best perimeter defender, no denying that. He also was the only player on the Tiger team besides Shannon that could create his own shot. Didn't need to be set up.

I spoke of that throughout the rest of the season.
