I guess it is a big relief that Shepherd on another game.  Hardin fans just need some justification for their poor performance last week.  The most unfortunate thing is...we are going to have to listen to them justify their performance against Shepherd for at least the next week.

Last time I checked, everybody in Hardin blamed Villemez's injury as the downfall in that game (excuse...I think it is.)  Everybody from Hardin was justifying last week's performance by stating how good Shepherd has gotten when nothing to very little has been stated about Shepherd's team on any posts (up to last week.)  Another thing...the excessive stroking of the coaching staff's ego has gotten "out of hand."  Beating Trinity is not something I would consider as a high mark of coaching excellence.  Hardin has a stud in Villemez and not much after that. 

Finally, no disrespect is intended to the players of any program...just the idiots that place Hardin on a pedestal of a great program for years running when (like most programs) have strokes of good luck as far as athletes are concerned.

I disagree with this, There QB was really good as was #5. They are just a much a impact on that team as Villemez.

But anyway, Woodville hard tonight they really shoved it in our face the first quarter when our Offense came out a lil sloppy with the Pick 6. But, I'm really proud of our defense! the gave up 0 points in this game and kept us in the game!

There may have been a couple post that blamed the loss on the injury, but all in all the responses were that maybe the score wouldn't have been so lopsided, that Shepherd played a heck of a game and earned a great win for their program. Everybody on this forum picked Woodville because they're basing Shepherd on what they've done in the past, hopefully their district competition does the same thing and they'll be watching them in the playoffs. Oh, and Cowboys, seriously, "Cowboys"? It's OK to congratulate Hardin, they're not a bad program.

Be careful with your use of "Everbody".. Only a couple of posters blamed the loss on the injury... Most were very complimentary to Shepherd for their win....It's clear you've got nothing for Hardin and it shows in your post...I've got no ties to Shepard or Hardin...just like to see teams that traditionally have not had success have a chance to experience winning.. Hardin has had a good run the last 3 years after many down years... and Shepherd looks good this year.Good Luck to Shepherd, Hardin and to the school you root for.

To be truthful, the one doing the most talking about Shepherd before the Hardin game was playa from Liberty.  And we haven't heard squat from him in the last couple of weeks.  Keep doing what your doing Pirates.
