nation08 Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 Last year was the first year was in the 20-4a district they held there ground, they didn't do that great against lumberton. Can they even compare this season.
PURPLE 4EVER Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 If.... Both teams make the playoffs... The loser will get Dayton in the first round. For the first week this is a big game. Livingston was EASILY the best team the Broncos faced in Region III during the playoffs last year. Will be interesting to see how much the Lions lost from that team. The weak link for last years Lions was the defense. In 20-4A there will be a lot of games that could go either way.
nation08 Posted September 19, 2009 Author Report Posted September 19, 2009 I haven't hard much about livingston this year. but I do know about lumberton and I going to have to say lumberton 28 livingston 7
Foyce Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 Livingston 35 - 14 Who has livingston played? What is their record?
maverick Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 Livingston 35 - 14 Who has livingston played? What is their record? They opened the season losing to Bellville 28 - 13 and then they beat Conroe Caney Creek 63 - 20 and they are playing Houston Washington today.
Guest BIG HOUSE Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 Will be a close game. Turnovers will decide... L-Train-24 Livingston-17
Lionfan Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 Lions sustained multiple injuries to key starters tonight and the swine flu is going thru the fieldhouse coaches are privately admitting they cannot hang with a physical Lumberton squad. Raiders should go ahead and chalk this one up as a win and start focusing on their second district foe!!!!
Huggie Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 Sorry Lions, the Raiders are healthy and ready for rumbles. L-town's beast is coming for a feast while the rest of the D will be pickin up fumbles!
liltex Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 If the Raiders play solid run defense like they have they'll win.Raiders 27-Lions 24
Foyce Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 I am going with the L-Train on this one, but I have not seen Livingston play so it is just a guess! Sounds like ti will be a game though that could go either way! ???

bignazty Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 Livingston will put a whooping on the raiders----shut out 21-0
Lionfan Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 Ok seriously this will be a game of strength versus strength the Lions ground attack and the Raiders run defense. The Raiders were able to slow down the Lions run game last year and that was the difference in the game. If the Lions can run the ball and not turn it over I see a 34-27 Lion win if not, who knows but the Lions will struggle if they can't run it. Come to think of it the Raiders were the last district foe to stop their ground attack so it should be a good one.
