BORAM Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 If the Lions plan on winning it with there running game...go ahead and hang it up. LR - 21 LL- 10
LTrain Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 Ok seriously this will be a game of strength versus strength the Lions ground attack and the Raiders run defense. The Raiders were able to slow down the Lions run game last year and that was the difference in the game. If the Lions can run the ball and not turn it over I see a 34-27 Lion win if not, who knows but the Lions will struggle if they can't run it. Come to think of it the Raiders were the last district foe to stop their ground attack so it should be a good one. Last in District for stopping the run Hmmm, where did you get your stats info from?

I think he is saying that last year, Lumberton was the last team to stop their run. Since then noone has been able to stop it.
Bucof2010 Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 It seems like Livingstons gamestyle the past few years plays right into Lumbertons strengths on defense.
liltex Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 Lions Stats 2-1 59 1st dwns-673 rushing-191 passing=9-22=40.91%=4tds-1 int. Leading rusher Quinton Jackson 441 yds=5 tds.
Lionfan Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 Ltrain that is exactly what I was saying the Livingston Lions ran the football on every remaining team after Lumbeton including Dayton and that my friend is a fact. So let em buckle up their chin traps and get it on Quinton Jackson is coming at ya so stop him if you can!!!!!!!!
nation08 Posted September 21, 2009 Author Report Posted September 21, 2009 lets talk about seating for a min. does livingston have enough seating for all of thr raider fan or should we bring chairs?
Lionfan Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 No the vistor section is sold out if u don't have a ticket I would suggest just staying in Lumberton and listening to the game on 923theeagle.com
BORAM Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 The hell with stayin home! Im gonna be there, I will sit in the home side with my proud columbia blue Raider T!!
PURPLE 4EVER Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 Ltrain that is exactly what I was saying the Livingston Lions ran the football on every remaining team after Lumbeton including Dayton and that my friend is a fact. So let em buckle up their chin traps and get it on Quinton Jackson is coming at ya so stop him if you can!!!!!!!! Livingston was the best team in Region III that the Broncos played last year. If they have a similar game this Friday night against the Raiders it will be a long night for the L-Train, but... over the last couple of years the L-Train has found a way to win these games. This will be a really good game.
Huggie Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 The "Beast" will feast! A swarming L-town defense will sting and cripple the Lions!
liltex Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 ROT what do you say bout the contest?Raiders are at home correct?I was impressed how the D played against a talented Silsbee team.
warpaint101 Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 I hope lumberton comes out on top ,,but this is going to be a good test for both teams...good luck L-Train

No need to get snippy lion i was just asking a question, but if you think yall are gonna run all over Lumbertons defense im afraid yall are gonna have a long night
BIGMO44 Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 WOW...will be a good one!!! Pulling for the Ltrain! Raiders in a close one.
scooter Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 The last team standing but really, I think Lumberton will bring it home with a win on the train.
wolfgang Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 If livingston doesn't have any kind of passing game, it will be a long night! I can't see this being close.
BORAM Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 If livingston doesn't have any kind of passing game, it will be a long night! I can't see this being close. I agree! Without an Effective passing game you won't get by Lumberton this early in the season. Hopefully LR will improve the Pass Defense through-out the season and get that under control. From what I hear...we may have a little surprise on offense for the Lions.
Pillow Pants69 Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 If livingston doesn't have any kind of passing game, it will be a long night! I can't see this being close. it wont be lumberton is gonna march all over livingston

Jackthehammer Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Lumberton here dont really know or care to know the out of SETX team.
rollinac Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 I have a hard time seeing Lumberton losing this game. It's really going to come down more to the Lumberton offense versus the Livingston defense.
UKCats Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 The Lions are young, but I say they handle their business and send the train back to the station without a caboose.
Chorizo_11 Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 lions knock train off its track fri. nite....lions win
