actually BMT.Gold is merging with BMT.Blue this week.So PNG purple should have a bye week. The Gold team is dissolving. How I understand it is, whoever the Gold team was suppose to play for the rest of the season has a bye.

I think they are on our schedule (WOS Jr. White) and I really don't want a bye. We only get three home games this year and now one of the games is cancelled and we have to take a bye.

Yes.  I believe they only had 13 maybe 14 this week.  When you throw in the normal number of "shake-ups" (fortunately, I did not see any serious injuries for them during the game) they were very near 11 for some of the game.  But the Bmt boys played hard all the way to the end.  They never quit playing or coaching.  And they have some very dangerous weapons.  Their QB is really something to watch and the WR caught the ball.  They must have completed 10 pass plays and several for more than 20 yards in the air.

I know that everyone hates missing games.  I was sure hoping they would make it through Saturday so we did not have to sit out a week.  However, I also really hope that the Bmt boys can keep having a good experience in what is for many of them their first LL football experience.  So I understand why this happened.

As I understand...all games against Bmt Jr Team (both past games and future games) have been set to the score of 1-0 (I thought 2-0 would have been more approapriate).  I am not on any board, but as I understand it that is what has been done to avoid this merge affecting the playoffs like Bridge City's merge affected the playoffs last year.
