adminbaberuth Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 WOSgrad, that layout is big time. Great work.
WOSgrad Posted September 22, 2009 Author Report Posted September 22, 2009 WOSgrad, that layout is big time. Great work. Thanks for the good word, admin.
Rebel Yeller Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 I knew the Rebels should not have taken last week off! Just kidding. Great Job Grad
T-daddy Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Jasper would beat Newton head to head
ChampionEagles Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Jasper would beat Newton head to head I'm afraid I would tend to agree with you T-daddy right now. Jasper is definetly on an upswing with confidence. But it would be a meaningless game. The playoffs is where both teams should start to focus as being ready to go now.
AggiesAreWe Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Jasper would beat Newton head to head ....therefore Jasper should be ranked ahead of Newton. Is that your point?
texans Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Best thing about the rankings is that Dayton will get to play one of those teams that is ahead of them and will be in the underdog roll. It will be a great upset if dayton can be lucky enough to knock off one of the 4 teams ahead of them.
Guest baseball25 Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Bridge City, HJ, Hardin, and anahuac beats EVADALE by 3 tds each..
AggiesAreWe Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Bridge City, HJ, Hardin, and anahuac beats EVADALE by 3 tds each.. We will never know. :
Rebel Yeller Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Bridge City, HJ, Hardin, and anahuac beats EVADALE by 3 tds each.. West Brook, Ozen and Central beat BC, HJ, Hardin and Anahuac by 3 tds each. What's your point! I did not vote Evadale onto this poll, I like that they are there. We play the teams we are supposed to play. We played two 2A teams in non district and one private. We did what we were supposed to do in the immortal words of Herm Edwards, we played to win the game! The Rebels did just that. I said it last year that this poll is too wide and that comparing different classifications would definately start people talking. Evadale could possibly go undefeated and your statement might still be true. I just poke a stick in this hornets nest every once in a while to get people talking. Nothing that gets said here is going to change what happens on the field, court or diamond one bit. I just root for the Rebels and expect everyone else to root for their team. Thats the way it should be and the way that I hope it stays.
WOSgrad Posted September 23, 2009 Author Report Posted September 23, 2009 grad great work! btw BC is 3-1 ;D Oops. One key off and thanks to bobcatfan for fixing that one.
BMTSoulja1 Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 grad great work! btw BC is 3-1 ;D Oops. One key off and thanks to bobcatfan for fixing that one. Hopefully, we'll sneak in that #1 spot after Friday. ;D ;D
raideroldtimer Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 What, no comment from any westenders saying how the Brook should be on top of this poll? Especially with nothing but 4A teams ahead of them. The top three will change next week, I wonder who will end up with number 1 and I wonder if PNG will get any respect.....LOL :
immabeast0101 Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 why is silsbee in the top 5 with a losing record?? i dont know much bout silsbee but i figured with more losses then wins and your not ranked but wuts up with that??
Hupernikomen Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 My new poll 5A/4A 1. Dayton 2. Central 3. Lumberton 4. Vidor 5. PNG 6. WB 7. Memorial 8. BH 9. LCM 10. Livingston 3A and under 1. Jasper 2. WOS 3. Newton 4. Kirbyville 5. Cleveland 6. Orangefield 7. Evadale (deserves a better rank but they can't beat any of the others in the top 10) 8. Coldspring 9. HJ 10. BC At least that is how I would vote.
Gabe Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 What happens to OF after playing close to Newton? I don't think you can drop them any at all.
Hupernikomen Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 What happens to OF after playing close to Newton? I don't think you can drop them any at all. Not my poll but I say they are 6 this week instead of 7 last week. Almost willing to give them 5th but Cleveland is the better of the two at this point.
LHSMRBoscar Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Ok so how is lumberton 3rd? now since central and dayton have lost a game ?
KFDM COOP Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 New poll won't be out until Monday.
BMTSoulja1 Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 That's Hupernikomen's poll. SETXSPORTS poll will be out Monday...
Hupernikomen Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Ok so how is lumberton 3rd? now since central and dayton have lost a game ? Because Dayton would smash lumberton and I think central has played better competition and played admirably. This is just my poll meant to get the juices flowing before the "10" from the triangle ignore all logic and vote State-Finalist Dayton 5th place in the big school poll simple because they live close to BH-89.
