BORAM Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 Anyone see the trend here? This may be the year vidor gets over the hump and never looks back.
westend1 Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 I'm sure they were also thinking that in 2004.
BMTSoulja1 Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 I don't see any trend. I looks like a bunch of woodshed whippings. Especially when we were still in 5a...
AggiesAreWe Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 Other than '05, what I see is that the last 7 games could have easily gone either way. The trend is that these teams are playing very close games between the two in recent years, outside of '05.
BMTSoulja1 Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 I'm not talking to you untill after friday, AAW! You picked Vidor even while I was sitting right by you looking at you at Burger Depot! So, you may be an undercover Vidorian... ;)

I will not be surprised if Central wins, but I am sticking with my pick.
RonBurgundy68 Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 Every game the past 4 years could have gone either way... Last year it was the missed field goal, can't remember the year before lol, and in 2006 when I was a senior, it was Brandon Williams scoring with maybe 10 seconds left in the game to win... So I expect this year to be the same...

This was the year of the emfamous phantom scoreboard... ;D ;D
shorttexas1 Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 What I see is the Stowers teams took a lot of chances on Defense and gave up some big plays... What I see is that 2004 was the worse Central team (1-9) of all time. What I see is that Stowers never really coached a potent offense. What i know is that this is a containment Defense and if Vidor Defense is slow and Jags D is too small, it will be a long night of high scoring football!!!! That will be won by Maroon and Gray!

But the point is he is gone. I am sure you have some good players, but showing these stats from years past, although they are impressive, mean nothing about tomorrow night! The best team will win tomorrow night. Or let me say it this way, "the best team tomorrow night will win" There is a difference!
