McHale Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 Since everyone else wants to talk about who is the best from their school' date=' lets see who is or was the best to come out the of Lumberton?[/quote']
lonestar Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 Terrence Kitchens had some success in D1 as a kicker. I believe he still is the all time A&M leader in percentage of field goals made (something like 30 of 40). Of course I guess it depends on if you count a kicker as an athlete.....
footballfan88 Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 babbin, lutrell, adams, light, ware, eckert, bucholtz, heinz, talbert, romero, hare, kitchens. all had alot of talent!! and with the right coaching lumberton wouldnt be the only team to not have an apperance in the playoffs..
AggiesAreWe Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 The question was who was the best ATHELETE to come out of Lumberton, that doesn't just relagate it to football. If you are wanting the best football player then it would be T.J. Light. But for the best athelete in my opinion it would be PeeWee Langham.
Tiger90 Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 Chad "PRIMETIME" Lutrull Is that you Chad? It has been awhile. I have to agree with Ty Cobb.....Morgan was a stud.
ltownfootballfan Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 Jolly Adams filled out his pants the best.
Raider88 Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 I would say Brian Boram or PeeWee Langham.
piratefan Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 Jolly Adams is a horse killer.

L-TOWN baseball Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 probaly clay buchholz. right now he is the NUMBER 1 prospect in the ENTIRE boston redsox organization!!! but from a football standpoint ... probaly tony eckert or PRIMETIME!!

lonestar Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 Yes, just as every other town has athletes. They just have not done anything to capitalize on it.
