Guest txrailcat74 Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Lefredrick Ford 97-yd TD run K'ville 7, HJ 0, 2nd qtr
Lazeek Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Hawks have moved the ball well and except for the 97 yarder have contained the Cats.........Come on Hawks!!!!
Guest txrailcat74 Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Yup, the Hawks have moved the ball and has contained the Cats offense. Could be an interesting game the rest of the way.
Guest txrailcat74 Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Cats fumble, Hawks recover it at K'ville's 19 yard line. Update: Hawks score TD, Jacoby Turner 30 yd rec. Cats 7, Hawks 7, about a minute left in the half.

Anafanatic Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 21-14 Wildcats - LF another long run!
Guest txrailcat74 Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 21 - 14, Wildcat --- Lefredrick Ford scores his third TD of the game. (About a 55 yarder I believe?) others were 97 and 6 yds.
w Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Either HJ is much improved or K'ville is having a bad night.
Anafanatic Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 sounds like the hawks are just playing them tough - wildcats seem to have them on their heels now.
wildcatalum88 Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 good game by the hawks keep your heads up guys .....good luck with the rest of the season
Hupernikomen Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 HJ has a good group. They will be in the mix for 2nd or 3rd in the district imo. I think everyone has a shot in this district with one exception. Should be interesting to see it play out.
Lazeek Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Great game Hawks you went up there and competed with one of the Best in the State in 2A!!!! You should be proud because you knew that you could hang in there while nobody gave you a chance.........me included!!!!! That is what I get for pre-judging!!!! Now it is district time.......3 wins.....lets get em!!!!!
Lefty99 Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 HJ came out with a great game plan. Their D-line was doing a great job getting pressure in the backfield disrupting K-ville's running game during the 1st half. Not taking anything away from HJ but Kville's O-line did struggle a bit too. K-ville did look very sloppy in the 1st half! That spread O that they run gave K-ville fits most of the night....just look at the state final game against Muleshoe from last yr and you will see what kind of problems it causes. K-ville's secondary still needs some work but it is getting better....for the most part they had good coverage on HJ's WR's. Alvarez must have lit a fire under his boys at the half. All in all, a win is a win.
