Way to go Pirates!!! Lineman proved they can hang with the big boys...Tonight was the real test and they made me a believer. Wish I could wish you luck next week but I can't. Hope it's close and as good a game as this one when you face the Raiders. Never expected this many points tonight. Matthews is not only a classy guy but he also has a pair of kahunas.

By looking at the area scores, every 20-4A game was hard fought tonight, which continues to show why this district is one of the toughest in the state.

Vidor may have lost this game, but they have won one heck of a lot of respect.

There will never be a game in district as close as this one. No one can say either team was better. However, Central did win so congrates. But the district race is not over. But I don't see any teams as close as this one Vidor 9-1 central 9-1

I picked this right. Although I will have to say MUCH HATS OFF to VIDOR. Game was alot closer than I thought. Both teams make the playoffs hands down. Congrats to BOTH teams.

excellent game, great job on the refs for straightening out the clock man, who obviously did not know he was doing

that was the best game of football i have seen, both teams played hard and fought to the end
