Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 I think that question was answered tonight I call this the "lil SEC"
SFA85 Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 I think that question was answered tonight I call this the "lil SEC" There's an argument to be made from the folk in that LM/Friendswood district and that district in the Fort Worth area that have Everman and Stephenville in it....

TradinUp BH Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 I think thier one of the equally matched districts this year, but far from the best.
jake94 Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 I think thier one of the equally matched districts this year, but far from the best. I could not have said it better myself.
Hupernikomen Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 I don't even think they are close to be being the best. But I certainly think they are solid from top to bottom with no nights off on any Friday for anyone. This is going to be typical 20-4A football. Probably be a coin flip at IHOP to see who gets the 4th spot.
Football Fan 50 Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Probably second best in Region 3.
lcm2007ms Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 I'll say the most interesting and entertaining
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 26, 2009 Author Report Posted September 26, 2009 no team might not clinch a playoff spot til week 9 or even week 10
SFA85 Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Probably second best in Region 3. Maybe 3rd best behind that district with Brenham, Montgomery, Huntsville, etc....
Guest baseball25 Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Top to bottom its close...
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 26, 2009 Author Report Posted September 26, 2009 Top to bottom its close... i agree
pngfan1 Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 I think thier one of the equally matched districts this year, but far from the best. I could not have said it better myself. I have to agree.
BORAM Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 No, 20-4A isnt the best. I wish I could say it was but it isnt. I still love my SETX football tho!
badndn Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 The Angleton Friendswood, Lamarque district is stout this year. 20-4A is not the best, but it is the best top to bottom that it has ever been that's for sure.
rollinac Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 It's definitely loaded!! Would someone please petition to kick out Livingston and add Dayton back please???? We certainly miss playing in 20-4A. The crowds and the competition are somewhat lacking over here in 19.... Angleton, FW, LM, TC, heck even Santa Fe is decent this year....
Bucof2010 Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 I can't imagine a more evenly matched district but certainly not the best.
raideroldtimer Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Just hang on Rollin, realignment is on it's way again, maybe, just maybe......
mat Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Every game Friday night was extremely close and I expect the rest of the season going down to the wire. The refs are going to catch heck this season with such close games. They're going to get the blame for many close losses.
TexazBall Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Most likely no.. But i Definatly think we're in the top 8 in 4A
raideroldtimer Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 I don't think we're really the best district in the state, but you'd be hard pressed to find a more equitable district in any division. Here is what my new fanatasy district would be, maybe the UIL will pay attention, LOL: Barbers Hill Beaumont Central Beaumont Ozen Dayton LCM Lumberton Nederland PNG Vidor 2 preseason games and then POW you're in district play.
PURPLE 4EVER Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Solid teams, but when was the last time a 20-4A team got out of the Houston region... Last year Centrals run to the quarter finals was the best a 20-4A team has done in a long time.
