This district will be more competitive this year.  I don't believe that any of the teams are guaranteed 1st place.

WOS has been the top dog a long time but the other teams are coming along just fine.  WOS will always have a great Defense but the Offense has struggled this year.  If a team plays great D against them and doesn't turn the ball over....WOS can be handed a loss.

Silsbee looks a lot like WOS this year.  After being jumped on by Dibal, Silsbees D has steped up.  The Offense hasn't found its grove yet....but they usually come around the 5th or 6th week.  If a team plays great Defense against them and doesn't turn the ball over....Silsbee can lose.

Orangefield has a new attitude with fine coaching.  They are opposites of WOS and Silsbee- great Offense with a Defense that hasn't found a grove.  I have a feeling when district play starts the other teams are going to say..... "What just happend to us?"

I don't know very much about the others but I feel these are the top three.

with the exception of silsbee no other team in this district comes close to wos.

We will see.

its great to have confidence and i do believe the cats will be the second or third team but you have nothing wos hasnt seen/stopped and you guys havent been able to stop lesser teams from scoring! good luck!

oh, and when WOS does lose in a district game are you going to make up excuses on how they lost or actually give credit to the team?

you might want to look on the jasper thread and see where i gave credit to jasper,made no excuses, and admitted we were beaten by a superior team that night. if we do lose a district game it WONT be to your cards!

i think we win district with silsbee and orangefield going to the playoffs. also, if our defense is "suppose" to have trouble with orangefields offense you guys will have NO shot at stopping them! you can kiss that bayou bowl trophy bye bye!

i think its funny how you follow wos around on this message board and pop up to comment when something doesnt go our way. kinda like a scourned woman hoping somebody will give us our just due because you or yours cant do it.

im not blinded by the past,but what else do we have to go on other than that to give a prediction? we might not be football gods, heck we might not win our district this year but theres two things for certain sweetie and that is we will donkey stomp the crap out of your cards at your stadium just like last time we played there and when your season is over wos will be moving on to the playoffs!!! 

you couldnt stop the powerhouse offense of liberty,buna,kountze,or kelly from scoring good luck stopping wos or orangefield! 

i cant believe im arguing football with someone from bc...its like arguing with the burger king about a big mac,its something he knows nothing about!

with all due respect for OF but that game vs png would have been way different if png would have had the whole week to game plan their D around the sausada show..there was 2 punt returns that OF could not cover that lost them that game but i have no dog in that fight just an innocent bystander that was at the game

i know its a long shot,  but what if WOS wouldnt make the playoffs?    Im not saying it will happen, but just think how crazy that would be.
