Last night I saw some true HEART... Hats off!

Hats off to the Vidor kids for showing so much heart.  The hitting was vicious and a number of Vidor's players limped off the field.... BUT, those kids came back out and played while limping... And played well!! I just knew a few of them would not come back in after those injuries... But those kids just limped back to the huddle and ran harder...  Talking about HEART!!!!!

My Jags had every reason to just let them walk in on the last two point conversion... I mean they had not stopped them up the middle all night...  Those kids were so tired at the end, and were physically beat.  Vidors 5 to 8 yard runs turned into 10 - 15 yard runs and it looked hopeless!  Then on the last play we actually win the line of scrimmage and meet the runner in the backfield... Talk about HEART!!!!

That sure sounded like a game and a half.  Don't care which team you wanted to win, you got your $$$'s worth out of that game!

This was one of those games that...yes it hurts to lose, but you don't go away crying!!!  What a classy game by both teams and their coaches.  These boys have a lot of respect for their team, coaches and  opposing team and coaches.  Not very many well-disciplined ones left anymore. 

My favorite part was Coach Matthews and some of his crew kneeling to the ground!  It was very nerve racking wasn't it?  I don't think there was a single fan sitting!

I ditto the hats off to both teams!!!  Good Luck to My Pirates and the Jags as well.

As posted on several threads,High School Football the best entertainment value we still have for $6.00.Kudos out to both teams on a fine game and wow 1 point separated the 2 after alot of heart and effort by the pirates and jags.
