ImJusSayn Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Nobody wants to talk about this one ? Or are we trying a new approach. SHHSHH!! ;D
Guest Ranger83 Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 I'm taking Crosby by 2 td's! (a little reverse psychology) Besides, Crosby already beat us last Friday in Dayton. I think he had 3 td's on his own. That was a heck of a "move in" for the Broncos.
rollinac Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Well it's really the only good game this weekend in 20 4-A.....I haven't seen Crosby yet but the winner probably has the inside track to the #2 spot in district....based on what I saw from GCM, I think they'll probably take this game.
liltex Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Goose rebounds and knocks of Crosby, then get's ready for B.Hill.
bronco1 Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 GCM gets its first meaningful district win over Crosby by 2 TD's. 34-20
Guest Ranger83 Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 GCM gets its first meaningful district win over Crosby by 2 TD's. 34-20 Hopefully we'll stay away from the Super Secret Offense this week.
rollinac Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 You referring to that three back pistol formation that I've never seen before??
Guest Ranger83 Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 You referring to that three back pistol formation that I've never seen before?? Yep!
rollinac Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Yea I think it's best to scrap that until goal line.... Or maybe it'll work against a different team...
bluejay Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Doesn't matter what offense you run against Crosby..I see Crosby only winning 2 more district games...GP and NF...
liltex Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 The flu bug's been going around but what is bugging those Crosby posters this year?Where did they go?
bluejay Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Its been a bad year..Don't have the athletes as in the past...The Frank transfer for ACADEMIC reasons to Dayton really hurt the offense..Everyone just loads up to stop Merka..None of the OL had started in a varsity game before this year and Merka is really getting killed every play..Kids said he was on crutches at school couple weeks ago..Defense is really undersized..LB's look to be about 160/lbs...Really think if GCM throws the ball well should be easy win.....
whitewolf09 Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 I think GCM will win this one in a tight one 21-20 . by late 4th quarter come back .
liltex Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 If that is true it's gotta be tuff for Dominic to put up the stats as he has been highly regarded by the scouts and he is only a jr.
jiggs Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Getting their butts handed to them twice early, may have helped them. Those were 2 good teams. By the way, the OL post by bluejay is incorrect.
FOOTBALLFEVER99 Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 I keep hearinh Franks transferred to Dayon for academic reasons.....Don't you still haveto attend class and make the grade there. Are we missing something here?
bigdaddyblue Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Franks reason for moving to Dayton from Crosby for his Senior year was for Academics..If he would have told the truth and said it was for playing football the UIL would not of allowed his move..Dayton has seemed to get a few top athletes to move in for academic reasons over the last few years..
zippy Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Someone told me Dayton was academically unacceptable. If this is the case how can he transfer for "academics?"
bigdaddyblue Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 He can transfer for academics because he is 6'1" 195 and runs a 4.4 40 yard dash and Dayton needed to replace Dugat because there top receiver coming back (Ploch) was being moved to QB...Just think how Dayton's offense would be this year without Frank...
rollinac Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Actually Ploch moving to QB was because the starter was hurt during the scrimmage games. Dayton's offense would be just fine without....it's all in how you USE the weapons you are given....
bigdaddyblue Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Ploch has always been the starter since first day of practice in August.....
rollinac Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Really??? Then why didn't he start in the scrimmages??
