C-TOWN Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 ALL I CAN SAY IS LIBERTY BETTER BE WELL PREPARED FOR A GROUP OF BOYS WHO'S COMING TO WIN, HAVENT SEEN A GROUP OF BOYS LIKE THESE IN MANY YEARS, GOOD LUCK CLEVELAND AND LIBERTY!!! I SAY, INDIANS - 32 LIBERTY- 6
Indian Fan Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 I agree with everything you said C-Town! This team knows how to play football and they play hard! Go Indians!
urgf Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 We played them last week. They run power football, with an occasional deep pass to their receivers. Offensively we never had to punt. Should beat them by 28.
C-TOWN Posted September 30, 2009 Author Report Posted September 30, 2009 Liberty I hope your prepared for one of the [if not the toughest] games that you'll play all year, these young men are prepared and ready!
Dwack Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 yeah liberty will come to play but i dont know that cleveland group is good
Indian Fan Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 Well I hope that both teams play safe and injury free, but I guarantee the game will be over in the first half. Saying that Cleveland is good is a understatement. Roll Indians----Beastmode
C-TOWN Posted October 1, 2009 Author Report Posted October 1, 2009 yeah liberty will come to play but i dont know that cleveland group is good Dude, your gonna know in about 3 hours if CLEVELAND is good or not!
Indian Fan Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 I would like to send out our thoughts and prayers to #20 on Liberty 8th grade A team, he took a big hit last night on a kickoff and was carried off the field by paramedics. if anyone has information on how he's doing please post!
Indian Fan Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 They called the game after the player got hurt, had 6 min left in the 4th Cleveland 28 Liberty 20
C-TOWN Posted October 2, 2009 Author Report Posted October 2, 2009 yeah liberty will come to play but i dont know that cleveland group is good Hey Dwack you think those CLEVELAND boyz came to play , let me rephrase that, do you think the 8th grade A team came to play?
Dwack Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 the liberty player was carted off the field for precaution and his air was knocked out of him and it traumatized his lungs. he had a mild concusion i think it was just a precaution. the kid runs hard! Liberty came to play but that cleveland team just out talent them
Dwack Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 yeah they came to play but liberty did too
mical Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 I hope the Libery player is doing well, prayers are with him. I don't know much about either team, but with all the hoopla about the cleveland 8th grade team I expected the score to be a little different. Sounds like Liberty gave cleveland all they could handle.
urgf Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 Wasn't expecting this game to be that close...
indian15/16 Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 I am happy to hear that Lib. #20 is going to be ok. That hit he took was vicious(but clean). I think Liberty played as good as they could but there was more to the game than the score. Cleveland did not benefit from having 16 days off between games. They never really got into any kind of rhythm. Cleveland was called for 6 personal fouls. That is not a misprint. I can't believe those three officials would be allowed to call anything other than 4 and 5 year old football games. Cleveland fumbled in their own endzone for Liberty's first TD. That was after Cleveland held them first and goal for seven consecutive plays due to penalties. Cleveland later fumbled on a first and goal from the 5 yd line. There were more mistakes as well. Liberty played hard but Cleveland was more responsible for their success. I think games like this can make teams better and look for that to be case with this Cleveland team. Warning to the rest of the district: Don't let the score fool you! ROLL...TRIBE...ROLL!!
C-TOWN Posted October 4, 2009 Author Report Posted October 4, 2009 Wasn't expecting this game to be that close... Would had been a blow out however when you have Ref's throw over 30 flags in one game, that stops the high scores, Liberty should be embarrassed by the Ref's that they used for these games, they also had 6 year olds holding down markers, so glad we are past that mickey mouse town......
mical Posted October 4, 2009 Report Posted October 4, 2009 Maybe the Cleveland 8th graders are reading these posts, and are starting to believe they don't have to play to their potential. This is why games are played.
Dwack Posted October 4, 2009 Report Posted October 4, 2009 hey c-town why are you so negative? why cant you just say both teams played their heart out and gave it their all?
Tator tots Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 I heard and this may be just a rumor That cleveland forfeited because they had ineligable player that was too old
urgf Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 I heard and this may be just a rumor That cleveland forfeited because they had ineligable player that was too old Really?
indian15/16 Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 You have to kidding me. Cleveland did not forfeit anything. The game was called due to injury. Please post things that make sense or you have researched and know to be a fact. Cleveland 8th grade needs to get away from the hype and keep doing the work. All games are decided on the field. ROLL...TRIBE...ROLL!
C-TOWN Posted October 5, 2009 Author Report Posted October 5, 2009 Are you serious, these boys played Liberty as well as the Refs, when one side has as many as 30 plus flags thrown on them, its b.s., let these kids go out and play the game and see who comes out on top, so with that being said, we didn't forfeit, loose, or give up and walk out, our boys came as a team, won as a team and walked out as a team.
Indian Fan Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 Anyone that seen the game knows the truth. I'm just proud of the boys for not losing focus of the game with everything that was being called on them, they played hard all the way and just kept plugging away like winners. Way to go Cleveland players and coaches! your 3-0, back to work today, getting ready for Thursday! Keep It Rollin Indians
Tator tots Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 notice there is no liberty people on this thread
