Friendswood not even a point, also Central not even a point.

Only 5 teams in Region III getting points (Angleton is at the top).

Region III is up for grabs again, especially Division II.

I still think Division I will either be Friendswood or Angleton (Vidor and Central will hopefully give them a run for their money).

what division is PN-G in?

There are four teams that make the playoffs in each district.

Regardless of how they finish, the two schools with the largest enrollment are placed in Division I with the other two going into Division II.

If...

Central and Vidor make the playoffs they would be the Division I schools in 20-4A because they have the largest enrollments.

IMO there is going to be a three way race for the remaining two spots between Lumberton, PN-G, and Livingston (Lumberton is one step ahead with a win already over Livingston).

If you go to the SETX HS FOOTBALL STANDINGS sticky thread, it has the enrollment numbers by each school.

In 19-4A, Barbers Hill and Dayton look like they will be the Division II schools with Crosby, GCM, and possibly CE King fighting it out for the other two spots in Division I.

It is a big deal on what division you are in, because in the Houston region, the top two teams are probably Angleton and Friendswood, which will be both in Division I.

Division II probably right now has Dayton as the front runner, followed by Brenham (a team that Dayton scored 35 points on in the first half last year), Lumberton, and PN-G.

If PN-G can get past Livingston, the Lumberton vs PN-G game would probably decide who Dayton plays in the first round, with Dayton getting the loser of that game.

IMO (again)...

20-4A should be able to win all it's first round games easily with exception to the team that gets paired with Dayton, which is looking better and better each week (especially with the offense posting stats that approach last years team).  The defense is getting better, but it is not playing as good as it can.

This is looking way ahead, especially in 20-4A where every week there will be no "cake walk" games like Dayton will have in 19-4A.
