Thanks, Rey. But you know what? If yall would have beaten Ike, yall would have been a lot higher. Everybody knew it was a tall order to beat Westfield and The Champs. Wouldn't have held that against yall. Either one of them would blow through any of the big schools around here...
bone Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Good too see them Hawks getting some Luv 8) 8)

I guess you have to be at some of the games to understand the atmosphere that playing Katy brings to the field....It really seems like your at A & M, or UT when they play.....there crowd brings a noise that we could possibly bring to our teams here in Beaumont....I just don't know if everyone would flow together. Example: The new stadium is getting ready to be built....WB, Cent, OZ will be occupying the field on different nights(except when we play each other). I say ALL of Beaumont needs to be out there supporting the local teams. PACK the stands, cheer for your defense on 3rd down, cheer for your offense on first down!! When our Teams play agains each other you cheer for your team....in order to compete with these power houses the fans have to come out and support as a whole...
warpaint101 Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 The polls look right to me at this time until everyone plays each other,,I hope the top 4 that are listed make the playoffs ..no matter if they move around or stay the same ...(i think at this time) those 4 teams will represent our district well and hopefully go deep in the playoffs...
hj_hawk_60 Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 HJ 2-3 top 10???? West Brook 2-3 and number 6 in 4A/5A poll
hj_hawk_60 Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 5 teams from 21-3A in the 3A and under poll.. really is going to be an intense district race
LHSMRBoscar Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 Hope the L-train will hold back the pirates for a homecoming win and 5-0!
Bhplayer011 Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 BH should be up there ahead of PNG ;D
zeroturn Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 to hj hawk look at wb strength of schedule
NDNTime Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 BH should be up there ahead of PNG ;D HAHA, just trying to start something?
EXPRESS Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 Statistical this is how it looks! Rank Team 1 VIDOR 2 LIV 3 PNG 4 LUM 5 CEN 6 LCM 7 OZEN 8 NED
SgtRey Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 Statistical this is how it looks! Rank Team 1 VIDOR 2 LIV 3 PNG 4 LUM 5 CEN 6 LCM 7 OZEN 8 NED Well, Central can also put up a bunch of yards against: Kelly, St Thomas, Marshall Jr High and Sally Curtis. :
EXPRESS Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 Vidor 430 yards rushing vs Central. West brook only had 235 total yards vs Central ??????
SgtRey Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 Vidor 430 yards rushing vs Central. West brook only had 235 total yards vs Central ?????? Westbrook won
SgtRey Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 If Vidor continues to play the same way, I will strongly agree(different competition). They played a great Central defense and the yards were thru the roof both ways. You have to admitt, they have not played the same caliber of teams Central has....what would Central have done to Kelly, St Thomas, Marshall MS and Sally Curtis?
JagsBaby Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 U say Statistically Central is num 5 are u serious if they played team like kelly, HJ, and other winless non district games their stats would be out of site but, but the team picked to finish 5th n 20 4a will keep on truckin on these folks
EXPRESS Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 It is only a ranking based purely on stats there was no consideration of strength of schedule or Turnover Ratios. Relax guys... I believe Central is a very good football team..... There is alot of football to go before the district race is final, just thought it might interest you to see the stat rankings? I am however stumped as to why strength of schedule is so important to you, Yes central loss to Westbrook but probably should not have? Beat a suspect Pam and played a very weak Ball team Big deal...... Vidor Ran the ball at will On a very good Central Defense. Vidor has alot of work to be done on defense, They are suspect to the big play Central proved that... I also believe PNG is better than people think and Lumberton can bring it. Livingston has a very good offense and will surprise you.... The stats show you who can move the ball. Rushing and Passing stats show who is balanced and what type of play calling is being done....etc But to say Vidor played weaker teams to roll up stats then Why was central the only team to give up 56 points to vidor when no other team Vidor played did??? In fact St Thomas has as good a passing attack as anyone, HJ was able to stop the pirates on downs...on and on... So I guess your calling Central (Sally Curtis) because it looks like Vidor rolled up the stats on you too.......
dat_hook_em_fan Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 Statistical this is how it looks! Rank Team 1 VIDOR 2 LIV 3 PNG 4 LUM 5 CEN 6 LCM 7 OZEN 8 NED well we know where stats get u. nowhere game on field tells all. on that day there were the team that pulled out the victory......GOOOOOOOOOOOOO JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGS ;D
ECC95 Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 Hmmmmm........ Silsbee 1-3 at #5 and Hardin Jeff. #10 at 2-3, yet undefeated Anahuac and 3-1 Hardin get left out of the top 10. Something not adding up here.
