et531303 Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 I think Cameron Mitchell and Thaddius Johnson of Anahuac.
Justme Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 after watching film on the beard kid and the ozen kid i have to say that the ozen linebacker is playing better right now. Just my opinion. I heard he had over 70 tackles after 4 games and thats with their will linebacker making another 4 or so tackles.
The Goat Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 I can't say enough about Hines this kid plays every special teams, in the goal line package on offense and of coarse MLB that's in or around every tackle. He.s big 6'1'' 200- 205 strong 350lbs (bench) fast (4.5) forty. He's not just making tackles but blasting people with openfield,up the middle form tackles, from sideline to sideline. Against the woodlands last week first he ran down lasco on the sideline, then ran right through him one on one on the other side to kill their drive and make them punt. This kid has the wow factor!!!!!!!
hj_hawk_60 Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 Nick McCown (Sr.) - Free Safety - HJ - #10 Has over 50 tackles and a INT already this year Sophmore year played Corner and had 6 interceptions by the time district started Junior year he injured his knee and missed half the season He's only 5'6" 140 pounds but the guy can play..
real eyes realize real li Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 # 1 R. Franscis And # 4 P. Harmon are both great deff. players from ozen.
SgtRey Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 Earl Hines (sp) - Memorial - MLB Anthony Beard - Lumberton - MLB Honorable mention: William Jones - Central - MLB Jacoby Hale - Central - OLB (I had to throw a couple of our kids in there ;D ) I agree, alot of talent in the area. DE Ben Goodman 1st Team All District as a Soph(he's a Jr now) - WB MLB Collin Garret - WB What about that hard hitting safety, Rey? What was his name? He should be mentioned. What grade is he in? Torn ACL- Justin "The Hammer" Jackson - Jr - Honorable Mention
real eyes realize real li Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 ben goodman is also a good deff player i look foward to seeing him play on saturdays
ThaGhost Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 At P.A.M. the best defensive player hands down is Earl Hines, however there are two kids that's flying under the radar...#19 Michael Johnson and #6 Chuckie Baker. There was talk that our secondary may be kinda suspect, but those two kids have come and Titaned up the defense.
Djones8301 Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 Chuckie Baker has made the most improvement from week 1 until now. He has made huge strides.
ThaGhost Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 I started noticing Baker last Friday against The Woodlands. The kid is about 5'10" or 5'11" and he continued to make plays against a much taller WR. Not to mention he's ONLY a Jr. Personally, I like him AND Michael Johnson!
ozensfinest Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 earl hines had a down year last year though he didnt play up to his potential his sophomore year was his coming out party though
live_4_Him Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 I dont know many players, but Newton's middle linebacker (#23) is really impressive and seems to be really smart on the field. He is only a freshman i think, so he probably isnt the best this year, but he will definitely be one to watch in the future.
dsmitchell_77514 Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 Cameron Mitchell-Anahuac 60+ tackles this year, and plays some offense and special teams.Â
The Goat Posted October 1, 2009 Report Posted October 1, 2009 earl hines had a down year last year though he didnt play up to his potential his sophomore year was his coming out party though He was hurt off and on last season, he has already made up for though. :D
