WOS Volleyball forfeits district game for football game/Game rescheduled!!!

I know there has to be more to this story, but WOS volleball will forfeit their DISTRICT volleyball game against Hardin - Jefferson to make it to the football game Friday.  Can someone tell me how true this is?

There has to be more to this story. Or at least there better be. To forfeit a district game to attend a non-district football game is ludicrous. If I were the other schools in the district, I would have a problem with this. Giving a district win for that reason is insane!

Like I said, there has to be another reason for this. It will be much egg on the faces of WOS if this is true.

I know that WOS will be letting school out around noon (maybe 1:00) because they need all the busses for the trip. Could this be why they are not going to HJ on Friday? No bus?

If buses are the problem, you would think some parents would load up their cars and haul the kids.  I know I would for my kid.  If the girls would rather be at the football game, then that's a whole nother story.

want take more than 4 or 5 buses and I know they have more. Used to drive by the barn everyday and they had plenty. Beside they have had away games and did not have to forfiet before.

There has not been any forfiet.  I game is currently cancelled and will be made up on a later date is the info I was givin.  Just spoke to a HJ official.
