BHBadboy
1. Dayton:2-0-Nobody has beat them yet in district, the defence is good, and their offence is getting better 2. Barbers Hill:2-0- Everyone is down on Barbers Hill, but in my opinion we have the best defence in the district, and when we don't turn the ball over, the best offence too. I would have BH at #1 but we have't beat anyone yet. The next few weeks we play GCM, Dayton and Crosby, all in a row. I believe Dayton vs. BH will be the defacto district championship game. And I believe BH will win, setting up a long playoff run. 3. Crosby:2-0- The have rebounded from embarrassing preseason losses but I doubt they can beat BH or Dayton 4. GCM:1-1- Will make the playoffs barely 5. Galena Park:1-1- Not as bad as everone thinks 6.C.E. King:0-2- Won't return to playoffs 7. Kingwood Park:0-2- They are better in their second year 8.North Forest:0-2- They may not win a game
dayton
1. Dayton:2-0-#1 O and D....experience, talent, hard work and coaching... except on defense. 2. Barbers Hill:2-0- Everyone is down on Barbers Hill, but in my opinion they have the 2nd best defense in the district, and when they don't turn the ball over, the 2nd best offense too. They have't beat anyone yet, but have played some quality teams close. The next few weeks they play GCM, Dayton and Crosby, all in a row, and if they take 2 of these, should be a cinch for the playoffs. I believe Dayton vs. BH will be the defacto district championship game. 3. Crosby:2-0- The have rebounded from embarrassing preseason losses but I doubt they can beat BH or Dayton 4. GCM:1-1- much improved. 5. Galena Park:1-1- Same GP 6.C.E. King:0-2- Won't return to playoffs 7. Kingwood Park:0-2- They are better in their second year.... will win 1 or 2 8.North Forest:0-2- They may not win a game.. feel bad for these kids' situation
PURPLE 4EVER
TOUPS GRAPHICS POWER RANKINGS... 1. Dayton (probably the third best team east of the Brazos in 4A (behind Angleton and Friendswood). Should win their third straight Quarter Final Championship this year.) 2. Crosby (Their top two or three athletes might just be a little better than BH (the junior and senior class at Crosby also has the edge)) 3. Barbers Hill (Will be a very close game with Crosby, could go either way, right now I give the edge to Crosby) 4. Goose Creek Memorial (should be the fourth best team in the district) The rest... Wouldn't win one game in 20-4A, All four of these teams will get clocked by Dayton by at least 30 point spreads. As far as Barbers Hill making a playoff run... They won't get past either Lumberton, PN-G, or Livingston, two of these schools will probably be the division II playoff teams from 20-4A. Basketballs will be dribbling at Barbers Hill for at least a month while the Broncos are still on the grid iron.
rollinac
#1 - Dayton - will remain there until someone beats them #2 - GCM - Much improved and has some senior leadership this year. Great athletes on both sides of the ball and will hopefully "stick to what brung 'em" for the rest of the year instead of using the super secret offense #3 - BH - Continues to improve every week after a error prone opening defeat to PN-G. #4 - Crosby - Thank god they expanded the playoffs to four teams #5 - King - Would be #3 or #4 if they were more disciplined and committed fewer mistakes #6 - KP - Improved but still a long way to go #7 - GP - Won their one game of the year last week #8 - NF - I feel sorry for these kids.... BHFAN
1.) Dayton - Champs untill proven other wise. 2.) BH - IMHO will not be at Daytons level this year, but will make it a game. (I hope I eat my words on this one. BEAT DAYTON) 3.) Crosby - Playing BH at Home! Squeeked out a win over the Eagles last year, BH D and O too much improved for Crosby this year. 4.) GP - They have some talent and think they will beat GCM in a tight game to take the 4rth spot 5.) GCM - Almost make the playoffs in the 2nd year, but will have to wait another year to taste the playoffs. Ranger83 starts looking for property in BH or Dayton ;D 6.) CE King - Dont know what happened this year, but King just cant get it going 7.) KP - They move up from last to 7th in year 2. Coach has meeting with Dayton to figure out plan to get athletes to transfer to KP for academic reasons ;D 8.)Forest Brook -Looking for a new Coach

bigdaddyblue
BH is in the same boat as Crosby, each has won district games against bottom teams in the district and BH improved there stats against a JV team...It will proably come down between the two for second place, but i don't see BH beating Crosby this year.. rollinac
IDK about the "same boat." BH didn't get taken to the woodshed by PN-G.

raideroldtimer
BHBadboy has all this right but I made a littel change on my opinion about BH 1. Dayton:2-0-Nobody has beat them yet in district, the defence is good, and their offence is getting better 2. Barbers Hill:2-0- These boys have the best chance of anyone in the district to actually dethrone the Broncs, I don't know if they can win it but Broncos beware, this won't be a blow out. 3. Crosby:2-0- The have rebounded from embarrassing preseason losses but I doubt they can beat BH or Dayton 4. GCM:1-1- Will make the playoffs barely 5. Galena Park:1-1- Not as bad as everone thinks 6.C.E. King:0-2- Won't return to playoffs 7. prepballfan
Im not ranking out this district because I do not know enough about most of the teams. I beleive that BH is a better team than Crosby. I think they will match up better against Crosby than most expect. The QB at BH is a good one when he is not throwing Ints. Dayton is still the team to beat this year, but the Eagles will be in Bronco busting mode this year. This should be a good game.
