Vidor vs. Ozen Predictions?

big tank you took the words right out of my mouth....Its almost like we know each other. Its seems like the people from vidor are thinking us fans from ozen are coming to start a riot or something....(we are not the ones who has held a bad reputation) I cant speak for all but i know most fans from ozen are classy and the only thing on our minds is cheering our panthers to victory. I have never been apart of any uneasy situations while  in vidor so i dont expect or anticipate any. Oh yeah the panther win this game by 14

I have been at the ozen games and the players are very classy and respectful. I cant speak so well iof the fans though but never toward the opponent. There behavior toward there own staff though leaves something to be desired. remember all of us are here for the kids. The staff and players of ozen the past few years have been respectfully on their P's and Q's though and Nelson seems to have them there as well. Good luck to both vidor and Ozen.

I've only had one bad experience with an Ozen fan, but I wont let one upset lady speak for, or ruin the high regard I hold Ozen to. I have no problem with Ozen, it's players, or fans.

if number 42 wld stop paying so much attention to what ozen is and isnt doing this year he might be playing at tcu this year....I think r. francis and P harmon along with the other 9 players on deff. are very capeable of stoping the vidor run game.The key to this game is ozen off. THEY HAVE TO SCORE....no more turnovers and silly mistakes...THis year I have seen the panthers have stand out deff games. its time for the off to come alive. From what i can see they have key players in key positions They all need to be on the same page.....This will be the week ozen by 14

Have you seen Vidors line? This is simple, Vidor plays D like they did against Lumberton (and the adjustments they made from the previous weeks on D by the way were awesome) and the line steps up and plays like they were before the Lumberton game and  Ozen can think what they want but short of Divine intervention Vidor soundly spanks them then sends them back home period.

why is it people keep asking if ozen's players, coaches and fans will be classy and not vidor's players, coaches and fans.  ozen is not the the one with a shady history behind them, nor have ozen displayed behavior to warrant this questions. really do think these comments are bias.

vidor's jv is undefeated so far. they are very good. all of the skilled position players could step right in for a varsity player. they are loaded at rb.

i doubt that. check the game tonight. you'll see a few on the other side of the field better.

i think what was meant to be said was that we hope that ozens fans players and coaches are as classy as the teams we have played this year... we have seen the good, ie central, where the players and coaches all got together and prayed after the game, but we have also seen the bad, ie St. thomas where fans allegedly spit on kids and keyed our buses. i know that 20-4A teams have alot of class and i expect no different from ozen. i just hope they have as much brotherly love like central did... you just dont see that too often

Most of the people from Lumberton are very classy. I hate when people classify a whole community by the stupidity of a few people. Now let me address the other comments. I for one regret Vidors past and hope we will have something much better to be associated with some day, but remember the principle I spoke of earlier. Please don't associate all of us with the negative past. Every community has it's bad members, but very few communities are bad as a whole. I am sure Ozen will be vary classy, and so will we, win or lose. No I have been serious for far too long.....GO PIRATES!  ;D

I used to have a game buddy that was an Ozen fan.  He stopped coming out in 2004, the last good season.  So I assume the old Ozen fans stopped coming out. 

All I remember is that they were very passionate about their teams.  When there are bonheaded plays or crazy coaching decisions, they get very angry and let them have it.  They had no tolerance for failure.

im a fan but im also realistic come desethion if you were at the nederland and livingston game like i was you would know that ozen doesnt a chance with the rest of the teams on their schedule except for lcm lets be real here for a minute ozen has a great coaching staff but not enough talent to back it up

Come on Nazerath, sounds like you are one of those folks that carry a chip on your shoulder.  I've read your post and all I hear is hate for Vidor.  Every team that comes here win or loose, always get a police escort out of town. This is done to help your band and team to get past all the traffic.  You know, you can go back far enough in any town and find problems.  So get on with you life and judge us on what happens now and not 30 or 40 years ago.  God Loves ya man.

Ozen, no harm meant to you guys fom us here in Vidor. I remember a few years ago Ozen was in Vidor and I was helping work the concession stands on the visitor's side. After halftime I stood at the fence in black and gold on Ozen's side with several men from Ozen. We won a tight game and those guys were awesome to watch the game with. Very knowledgable, funny, and didn't make excuses for the loss. Very classy guys! Good luck tonight Ozen!
