raidermom85 Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 this is my sons first year to play so i am learning, my question is.... after the season games someone was telling me they have something like playoffs and a super bowl, how does this work?? make sense?
piratefan Posted October 4, 2009 Report Posted October 4, 2009 If you go the the STJFL website it tells you the rules.. Basically 8 tams go to the playoffs.the teams with the best records..then they have a few weeks of playoff games which the final two go to superbowl

Any STJFL flag team that wants to participate in the “end of season†tournament may do so by entering there team before the October STJFL board meeting. Flag tournament bracket/schedule will be set at that meeting. ???so the two teams that make it to the last bracket count as the superbowl game?? if so is that game played on the same day or is it played the day that all the other superbowls are???

DVD;s were sold for $10 and it was very much worth it. Just to let you know: if your child reaches playoffs there is a charge to each game. If I remember right, it was $2 each person last year. Again, even though I did not agree at first; once it was explained to me why there is a charge I 100% understood.

They will seed the teams by their record and play a single elim tournament. The winner could play 3 or 4 games that day. Hope this helps you out.

raidermom85 Posted October 6, 2009 Author Report Posted October 6, 2009 yes that helps me out and the coach explained it all today so i think i have it down now. i am looking forward to it. i think i am going to cry when football season is over i love watching it but it is so much more fun when you have a kid / family member playing.
