I would hope that we would not be so quick to judge a team or community on the comments of 1 or 2. Most of us have seen similar statements coming from many of the other area communities.

Kirbyville will come into the game as the favorite in everybody's minds but the boys on the football field. Kirbyville's players surely believe they can and probably should beat Jasper this year. Jasper's players will know that this game has huge playoffs implications. Should be a great game.

Jasper is never worried about their pre-district record. 0-3 means nothing to them. They are great with game planning for each team, and they don't show a lot on film, until they need it. I think Jasper puts it together and takes this one. Fumble problems, of course, may give Kirbyville a chance.
