SETXSports.com Team Rankings from regular posters

[FanRankings]

Every week we have the ADMIN's submit their polls for the setxsports.com team rankings, and every week there are folks that aren't happy about where their team is at. This is your opportunity to cast votes to where you think teams should be ranked. The format will be the same, a big school poll (5A-4A) and a small school poll (3A and under). Just email your rankings to [email protected] and we'll tally them up and post the results. Then we'll be able to compare the posters rankings to the official sites rankings.

* Send your rankings in ASAP so we can have them counted up and posted before Friday

* Send them ranked #1- #10 for big and small schools

* Take your rankings seriously. Please no winless teams at #1,  etc.

This was set up for fun by a few guys at work that are fans of different teams so there is no bias and is strictly for fun. So email your rankings to the above address ASAP so we can compare.

I don't understand the purpose of this thread.  You will not please everyone with a poll.  That's the beauty of the polls.  There will be a good disscussion for people that think the polls are accurate and people that don't think it is accurate.

the purpose is that its for fun, just like everything else done on message boards.

What are you confused about? Just email YOUR top 10 to the email provided and it gets tallied up. Unless Im confused and the polls pinned to the top of the board include eveyones rankings, I thought just certain admins had votes....am I wrong??

5A/4A Poll

1st      Dayton  - May not be a #1 team, but have to be beaten first.

2nd      Vidor - Strong running game makes the difference

3rd      Lumberton - Very efficient team, can be top 2 if they don't turn ball over

4th      West Brook - Overated team in my opinion, but will give them a one week nod

5th      Central - Always plays hard and has athletes.

6th      BH - Has potential if they run a balanced offense. Should have beat PNG by 3-4 TD's and one call/play away from beating lumberton. Poor coaching keeps them form a 3-4 spot.

7th      Memorial - just a big school with big guys

8th      Livingston - A sleep in district. Will take out PNG this week.

9th      PNG - Overated team who has only played decent teams very early, been the benefit of misfortunes, or played down teams. Gave them a 9 for coaching effort.

10th    Crosby - Team sucks but has athletes.  Can beat a team that turns the ball over.

3A/2A/1A/Privates Poll

1st          Jasper              - Playing well this year and has had the strongest schedule of any team in the region.

2nd        WOS                - They suck, but have good coach, athletes, and other teams fear them.  They are overated, but since coach is from BH he gets some props.

3rd          Newton          - dominate every year, even when down.

4th          Kirbyville        - plays harder than any team on this list.

5th          Silsbee            - plays above their ability.

6th          Evadale          - hot little team this year

7th          Coldspring      - surprisingly good this year

8th          Cleveland        - doing well, but still can be beat

9th          Anahuac        - one or two Div-1 players can make the difference.

10th        Orangefield    - playing good for a tough district
