BC_Steele Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 BC by a milestone. Its our Homecoming, ang HJ hasnt beaten us yet in district play.
kvilleballa Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 Might be a tough one for BC since people claim they down this year. If they don't have it together by the time they play Kville, its going to be a track meeting!!!
piratefan Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 I like Hj in this one.... upset !!!!!!
Guest Bridge City Card Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Could be a good game, HJ played EC close in the 4th Quarter. I like BC in this one by 7.
cardinal81o7 Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 tight one...bc has no cakewalks left on our schedule..the ones we did have we made them squeekers. our games are going to be close from here on out. unless we get it together and run on all cylinders like i think we're capable
HCFBALL FAN Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 If HJ can pass they can win. BC can't defend the pass or complete one either. I guess Lumberton was the CAKEWALK! HMMMM Lumberton 28 BC 24 That's right just let the kid's have a little fun! Sorry BC HJ 14 BC10
cardinal81o7 Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 never said lumberton was the cakewalk...
kvilleballa Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 If BC can't defend da pass I can't wait to hear that story when they play Kirbyville!! It is about time we end that loosing streak against these people.
Guest Kelly Football Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 The Cards in a close one.
WOS95 Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 i think this game will be close. it's a district game so you have to expect the intensity from both teams to be very high. i'll go with the orange county school  Bridge City 24 Hardin Jefferson 21
MIF04 Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 1. BC did a good job last week putting pressure on Kelly QB. That's the good news. The bad news is, when they didn't, their receivers were generally open (more good news for BC last week: Kelly's receivers are as bad as BC's at catching the ball). 2. Agree the intensity will be big. The loser of this game (realistically) is in a huge hole when it comes to making the playoffs because both have WOS, Silsbee, K-ville and Jasper ahead. 3. Status of Dishon's ankle is big key for BC. 4. If Dishon plays, I like BC by 10 or more. If not, we'll call it a pick 'em game.
SETXsports Broadcaster Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 I think it will be low scoring game... HJ 10 BC 9 but hey its district time now so kids will kick it up a notch, I think it will be close. 8)
Guest Pirate V Ball Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 BC by 1. Should be a good game
Guest Kelly Football Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Should be close as i said earlier in this thread. Any word on Dishon?
exbccards76smom Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 The last I heard, Johnny will be playing Friday night. Carl Cartlon has a broke hand and Hoyt Ivey has a chipped bone in his foot.
Gasilla Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 If BC can't defend da pass I can't wait to hear that story when they play Kirbyville!! It is about time we end that loosing streak against these people. Come on dude... a 99 yard screen pass does not a passing game, make.
3ABirdMan Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 This years BC team is making a habit of playing "ugly", but keeping it close, and in 2 of 3 pulling out the "W" in the end (should'a been 3 of 3, in my opinion). While it's not doing anything good for my BLOOD PRESSURE, a WIN is a WIN. BC by 4.
Pimp Smack Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 i sat next to Johnny Dishon at the movies last night(jackass 2), and he was on crutches.
MIF04 Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 He is on crutches, and probably needs a precautionary xray tomorrow. It is also his homecoming game in his senior year. If at all possible, he's gonna play....
Guest Living 4 Friday Nights Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 Depends on Dishon. I'll go with the Hawks by 6.
Guest kosmo Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 Our defense looked a little better Friday night. Our running game looked decent. And I liked having our running back have a big night. If we can figure out how to use those two equally, it would be a nice thing to see. Our passing game is exiting to watch. Good protection, open receivers, good throw. All is good until the ball gets to the target, and then it bounces right off those cinder blocks, otherwise known as hands. Maybe we should contact Loctite adhesives to develop some sort of undetectable clear stick-um. Maybe that would help.
