Chester86 Posted October 7, 2009 Report Posted October 7, 2009 The Tigers will have a long off-season. That had to be one of the best games I have ever seen. I am amazed that you get runners in scoring position, late in the game, and you do not try to squeeze them in. I know there are risks associated with this, but the Tigers didn't score not trying it. I think there were several times in the late innings when they had runners at third with less than 2 outs, so they had the opportunities. I am not sure who I will be pulling for now, because after watching that I am pretty impressed with the Twins organization. Wow, what a game.
Ruckdad Posted October 7, 2009 Report Posted October 7, 2009 In my opinion, the Twins are one of, if not the best run organizations in the league. Small market team yet they are always competitive. They really invest in their minor league system and get a lot of bang for their buck. Uncle Drayton should take notes.
