KFDM COOP Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 I heard PN-G won 2 of their 3 scrimmages, no work on the last one yet??
MIF04 Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 LCM easily defeated WB on a cold blustery day at Don Gibbens Field. LCM pitching was sharp throughout the day and, while both teams had their moments of sloppiness, LCM was much more solid than WB. In particular, Ehlert stood out but all of the Bears' staff was effective and around the plate all day. WB did not swing it very well at all (altho that very well could be blamed on the pitching -- it was good all day). Doubt and Murphy each threw a couple of good innings for the Bruins but some dropped balls, etc. were (as usual) death...especially against a good team like this. Good outing for LCM...reality check for WB.
KFDM COOP Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 LC-M's going to be mighty good again!
Lonewolf Posted February 12, 2006 Author Report Posted February 12, 2006 PNG did pretty good today. They allowed 4 runs over a day filled with alot of sunshine and breezy winds out of the North. Pitching was better today around. Lufkin and Bryan are both pretty good teams. Harwood, Mire Powell, Abbout, Domginue,Walker all pitched very well. Looks like they are getting in the zone with Tournaments coming up they better or it will be a long season. McInnis was POUNDING the ball today with 2 home runs into left center into the wind. They had alot of positives today against 2 pretty goods teams. If I remember right I think the games went 3-1, 5-1, 6-0, 1-2, and 5-0 each so called game lasting about 1 hour each. It has the makings of a great year for the NDN's. Good Luck guys!!!!!
KFDM COOP Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 That's 2 5A Teams PN-G beat...Congrats!
MIF04 Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Very good day for the top 2 out of 20-4A. Besides 2 McInnis bombs, who swung it well for Indians?
Lonewolf Posted February 12, 2006 Author Report Posted February 12, 2006 Matt Morgan had a good day with a couple of singles and doubles. Branden Powell had a couple of singles and a double. Cody mire also the same. Bucanan had a good day with 2 doubles and a couple of singles. Harwood had a couple of singles. McInnis also had 2 doubles with the 2 blasts. Most all hit the ball pretty well and were very alert on the base paths. They had one inning where the infield had a few brain farts but it is getting better. It should be a good game between LCM and PNG this year. Make sure and get their early. This should be a real barn burner.
