Guest brewens Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 how can high school varsity teams be playing? isnt this aginst UIL rules?
HSB&Rangers Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 If it is like what they do up here in the offseason, it is teams made up of returning players that are not coached by the school coaches. They usually just wear T-shirts and not school uniforms either. If you look closely, you might see a coach watching down the foul lines. So the games are basically a chance for players to get work in.

It would allow a high school coach to "coach" his athletes on these types of teams. Until then, they can only "watch".
