There are some idiots on here. Anahuac will not lose to these teams that schedule High Island, Burkville, Hull Daisetta, or Cathedral. Get real, Anahuac has played a descent schedule full of teams with speed and experience. If Anahuac would have scheduled some of these blow off teams then they too would be 4-0 and be holding records all over the state for passing, rushing and team defense. Instead, Gary Martel set up a schedule that would allow Anahuac to become a better team and prepare for district. Trust me, no one in this district will hang with them except East Chambers and that could be a good one. Granted, Anahuac has not played to their full potential yet but just watch - Buna is going down hard. Buna, Warren, Deweyville, Kountze, and Hardin - battle for third place because 1st and 2nd are already taken.

Pantherdad. Are you willing to bet a eye brow on that statement. The cougars are going down hard! You said Anahuac played a hard schedule. Splendora lost to Oranngefield and destroyed you guys. H-J lost to east chambers by one. Hitchcock played Kelly and did not get a first down the whole game. So as for your hard schedule that is BS. You guys have great kids and great atheletes but are having internal problems getting use to a new football coach. As far as who Buna scheduled Orangefield who beat us 28-7 (they beat splendora 34-26 and you guys lost 54-13 to spendora). Burkeville(47-6 US) who is traditionally very good are just down this year. Tarkington(30-12 US) is a 3A school and Hull-Daisetta(34-0 US) was ranked 23rd in the state in 1A and undefeated at the time. Buna is expecting a difficult game and are working hard but to say that they are going down hard is wrong and unwarranted.
