eaba26 Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 Andrew Pursley DT/RB Hull-Daisetta is a good player. Played LB for High Island last year as Freshman and has grown and put on wt since last year. Should continue to mature and get even better as a Junior.

liltex Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 Best Freshman playing varsity is Dayton kicker Juan Carranco.Outside a occasional mishandled snap the young fella makes almost every PAT and have seen him kick 35 yd.field goals @practice many times.Juan is another of 2 graduated Carranco brothers who were great kickers @Dayton.Opponents have 3 1/2 more yrs.to watch him kick.
stevieray Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 You should see a couple sophomore's up here play.... Jonathan Gray (RB) - Aledo 5-11, 190 lbs Had over 990 yards rushing as a freshman with 15 TD's This year he scored 7 TD's in one game An absolute beast, hard to believe he is only a soph. Can run past defenders and seems to love running over them even more. *This kid is the real deal and will go to any college that he wants. His dad is former Texas Tech RB James Gray. Aiavion Edwards (SS) - Stephenville 6-2, 205 lbs Started as a freshman The thing I like most about him is that he goes for the sure tackle first and the knockout punch second. Plays the pass extremely well and LOVES to fill the alley. Returned an interception 95 yards for a TD a couple weeks ago *Will go anywhere that he wants as well...Plays running back as well in certain formations
