Hupernikomen Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 way to go tigers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can't wait to hear COOPs excuses this time No excuse, Congrats Silsbee. Make mistakes you lose. Man you were so close in giving Silsbee credit. If you could have just left off the last sentence.
KFDM COOP Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 I did give them credit!!!! Just saying Any team that makes more mistakes than the other usually loses. :
WO-S 89 Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 i think i might have been in denial, but i really think we will struggle to get in the playoffs! its time to mix some things up and we need to start at qb! also, with 6 inches of water on the field why did our offensive guru have us running from sideline to sideline??? I knew we were in trouble when you can't get 1 yard on two running plays in a row. We were lucky to get seven points and Silsbee should have scored a couple of more TD's. Why dont they try Haynes at RB for an entire game.

KFDM COOP Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 Playcalling on that was fine, went Power I, just no blocking on those 2 plays.
Guest rykerx144 Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 maybe that magic playbook got wet and was hard to read?
j_dog Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 i picked this one I did also, then I changed to WOS because of the field conditions. I felt that Silsbee had the edge on a dry field. Obviously, they had the edge on a wet field also.
Tallboi Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 I did give them credit!!!! Just saying Any team that makes more mistakes than the other usually loses. : Good teams don't keep making mistakes. Congrats Silsbee on showing your the better team tonight. WO-S needs to figure it out quick or they might be at home come playoff time!
SETXsports Broadcaster Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 I am thinking the stangs are not down, they will come back. Say, when do they play H-F?
venom33 Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 maybe that magic playbook got wet and was hard to read? i really dont think that magic playbook ever existed. its not getting better its getting worse!
ofrover Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 To The Big Dog from Silsbee, I underestimated your Tigers. Good win....

WO-S needs to figure it out quick or they might be at home come playoff time! its really time to stop making excuses and turning a blind eye and call a spade a spade. its really not going well at all and the bad part is theres really no improvement!!
SetxFootball Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 now if Jasper were to have been in the same district would that meen that the stangs would be fighting for a playoff spot? you definetly stirrin here!! LOL But we all love it 8) i have no mercy for the stangs cause they havent in the pass years putting 70+ points on my team..
Guest etbu Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 What in the wold has happen to Wos?

I think this result is more of a wake up call than anything previous this year. Time to get the ball into the hands of the play makers. Expect changes in Mustang land.
Walk-off Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 Maybe the playmakers are not the answer.......
spinner Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 The one team that I don't like is WO-S. Way to go Silsbee!

KFDM COOP Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 What in the wold has happen to Wos? They'll be fine. I know Silsbee had to play in the Mud and water to but there was alot of slipping down.
Guest etbu Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 You have to think that the predistrict that Silsbee played has done them well. They lost many of close games early.
Kvillecats Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 What in the wold has happen to Wos? Well, it was about time Silsbee beat WOS dont you think??
Guest rykerx144 Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 it was really fun to pick on the wos faithful when they were down and I expected them to come back strong! But really its no fun anymore, they really are in trouble. You can not make the mistakes they are making and win games. Teams will be coming at WOS with more confidence now and its up to them to get this outta their heads and stop making the metal mistakes or it could get bad.
griff Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 Good job Silsbee on beating my Mustangs. The sloppy field conditions affected both teams. Silsbee had two costly turnovers or they could have scored at least one more TD in the first half. WO-S was fortunate to score at all. The offense is in really bad shape. It's not play selection. It's a lack of concentration (dropped passes, penalties, fumbled snaps) and execution that has doomed us all season. Up to this point, I've understood and agreed with the decision to pace the number of plays on offense of our two studs (Franks & Haynes) because both are much needed on the defense. However, I hope to see more of them on offense because it's getting a bit desperate. Our offense badly needs a shot in the arm. Even with all of this said, I give full credit to Silsbee for winning this game. Congratulations on snapping the WO-S district win streak and for becoming the frontrunner to win 21-3A. You've earned it.
